VN - Ren'Py - Sinful Delicacies [Ep.17] [Temptress Games]

I wasn't able to make it through very much of this game. Writing is full of grammatical errors, missing words, missing periods, missing letters, other weird mistakes.

The dialogue doesn't feel natural. The women are all slutty. That's cool I guess.

Girls are hot. Renders are a little blurry. You'll get a couple renders that are re-used over and over for each chunk of conversation.

But the writing makes me feel like I can't read. I keep re-reading the same sentences over and over. Every single line breaks my brain. Take something simple like, "You look drop dead stunning in that dress Stacy".

Immediately breaks my brain. Is "drop dead stunning" a phrase? I look it up on google, no results. Drop dead gorgeous is a phrase, I know that. And where's the comma between dress and Stacy?

I mean it's not technically wrong. You could say "drop dead stunning". But it feels unnatural. Is there some culture that talks like this that I'm unaware of? This is the state of bewilderment and confusing I have with every line.

Or take this line "It's perfect.. Intentionally revealing and pretentiously modest." What? Revealing AND modest? I mean, this sentence get's a period that's nice. Why not say "It's revealing but not too revealing."? Because "Intentionally revealing and pretentiously modest" hurts my brain.

Pray for me.

If you are a friend who values the depth or logic of the story, I do not recommend you to play this game, but if you are like me and want the plump and beautiful MILF, you will not be disappointed. Her figure makes me very crazy. I am very capable. I understand why MC always wants to deal with her. After all, her module is rarely used. I don’t have high standards for story or writing.

I like her breasts very much. They look very natural and soft, not too stiff. They are one of the few large and successful shapes. It is a pity that there is no animation, or if the MC sees her being NTRed by other people, it will be more popular. It's a spicy plot, I'm really looking forward to this kind of development, instead of MC having it all alone!

I'm not giving the minimum score just because the renders are pretty nice (and there is an infinite amount by now) and the plot had some original potential.
But just about everything in the story is a buzzkill, the protagonists in particular.
Like, good that they are billionaires (no grinding for the player!), and so be it if they want to flaunt it.. But this has rotten their brains. It's not even that MC is rapey (which he is, even though in line with the standards of the horny teen genre) he's a self-conceited prick constantly acting like he has to prove his machoness. If it wasn't for the money I could see him being a complete incel.
And then, mum is a super MILF and the center of the game, but fuck having to put up with a spoiled trophy wife every two seconds.
Last devs must have some obsession with cheating. Both in the sense that it's constantly underlined, but also that a lot of stuff totally didn't need it to begin with.

One of the worst story telling i have seen. MC in this game is beyond shit, who treats the woman in the game horribly and sometimes his thought process is like mentally retarded person, as a player i felt horrible playing as this MC. Sometimes the story feels like it's written by a teenager who happened to watch few action movies, and never had a social interaction in their entire life and decided that they can write coherent story.

Everything about this is just so bad.

Okay, Okay, the renders aren't bad, but not great either. The only other positive thing to say is it seems like there is a decent amount of content. I honestly can't say how much because I had to give it up before breaking something. Also as said when Peter Griffin was discussing dev's with God. How about devs that use one option menus in coding the. "Straight to hell. To the boiler room of hell. All the way down." Having a menu pop up to advance the game, like "answer the phone" or "open the door" when it's the only thing, the only option, does not generate immersion, it's a stop factor, it interrupts the story.

I'm about 72.173% certain the dev of this game was raised alone in the woods but robots and got all his knowledge of human interaction through watching porn and bad action movies.

The plot is beyond stupid and poorly written. The MC is a spineless pathetic worm. He does something stupid and is worried for his life as a result. Does that stop him doing the same thing again? No, he goes even further. Sleep creeping on his mom and I suspect his sisters later.

The MC and his mom meet a girl and less that 24 hours later his mom wants to adopt her and talks about her like she's her daughter she's known and loved for years.

For a supposed harem game, there is far too much seeing others getting fucked while the mc gets nothing. The aunt (who is hopefully not a LI) is a despicable person who is more concerned about which dick she can ride today while her husband she loves (yeah right) is out of town, than finding or being worried about her sister who's missing after her plane was shot down. Oh and when the mom and mc are finally rescued, the aunt can't even stop fucking some random (3rd or 4th different dude so far) dude to make a phone call. She literally calls her while the dude if fucking her. Note to dev's those scenes can be funny /sexy when it's the mc fucking a li who's talking to her husband or something, i.e. they are cucking the person on the phone, and I guess if you're into being cucked then mc being the one being called, but when it's a sister calling her sister who was missing, it's just stupid and makes the aunt out to be a really shitty person.

Dialogue is terrible. MC, tons of voyeurism / just showing random people fucking. As a mindless porn game, where you just hold CTRL till the spicy stuff...why bother, just go to porn hub.

While Sinful Delicacies boasts some engaging elements, it falls short of reaching its full potential. Sinful Delicacies offers moderate entertainment value, especially through its renders, making it a decent choice for a quick thrill. Yet, the shortcomings across various aspects hinder its potential, including the absence of scene galleries and recurring tropes, leading me to rate it at a 7/10.

Pros:
- Good renders, good looking girls (mostly). Mom is definitely the prettiest one.

Cons:
- Absolutely illogical (stupid) behaviour from characters. They are just soulless. No characters development whatsoever.
- The plot (story) is just bad, from some point you just start clicking through dialogues and scenes. There are some issues in writing as well, but since I was just clicking through it didn't bother me that much.
- A lot of voyeurism scenes (NTRsh stuff) ). MC is just a loser and cuck. Oh, and he is a creep who takes advantage of unconscious people. Full gentleman package I must say, so eventually you don't really feel for him.
Honestly I find introduction of a game (including tags) as a trick, trying to lure more players into it with nice renders. Because at the end you get almost NTR-focused story, definitely not what you expect from presentation.
- Music is annoying.
- There were also few bugs with missing images.

I'm pretty damn disappointed with the direction of this game. Somehow you can tell that the devs don't care anymore. Or they got paid for some shitty content. If the game had been made with the so-called Harem rules, i.e. the father would have been killed and the mother character would be the leader of this mafia, then it would be a hell of a lot better. Now that father figure halfway through the game ruins everything that has been achieved. For me, that was the shot in the neck I was waiting for. After that you can delete the game.

The only thing that could make me stick with this game is just and only the mother character. But even with her the game is just blue balls. So that's it.

Everything else drives me really far away from this game like that Aunt Stacy's role in this game is very negative and making her such a whore really lowers the value of the game, dad, I probably don't need to say more, NTR ruins the game ALWAYS. Whether it's regular or Lez-NTR, it makes sure that the vast majority of players don't even touch the game or don't continue to play the game. You would think the dev would want the game to succeed, but with that it just ruins its own job. Very negative and sad to see a good game go completely to shit. It's like there are no more ideas and you have to bring in everything else that doesn't fit the game. When few devs can afford to choose their audience. Wrong choice almost automatically brings an abandoned tag to the game. Few people seem to realize that what the dev likes is not necessarily the best idea for the game.

Not the worst thing I have played yest there is so so much to dislike

- the renders are good
- but the models are bad, with cow tits and horse dicks
- There is NTR interacial scenes after a few mins play
- All the characters make stupid, illogical decisions
- the MC is a complete cuck
- the story with ridiculous amount of gangs and military is barely comprehensible
- all the screenshots on the page are barely relevant to what you get
- theres no corruption, your family members are basically just "yes ok use me" from the word go
- many many missing images and others that are sideways
- obnoxious loud music on launch (ignores settings too)

The best thing about this game is that the mom is so pretty. Her body, her tits are great. The painting style and rendering are very good, very top. The only downside is that the animation is terrible. Too much going on between Mc and the other women is not good for his relationship with his mother. If I feel that too many things happen with other women, it will affect the relationship between my mother and me. It just doesn't feel that sincere

Normally Ignore 1 star or 5 star reviews. But this game is genuinely a 1 star. The writing alone makes made me quit and the absolutely dumb plot. I'm not even going to write anything productive for the dev. There is literally nothing to work on, scrap this game and do better.

This game might be the biggest disappointment I have ever played.

First, if you look at the banner, the screenshots and read the description, what impression do you get from the game? You see beautiful women, luxury cars and a lavish lifestyle. Then you read something about power, mafia, excessive wealth, super model mother and think to yourself "damn, this is the game for me!"

What you end up getting instead of a pathetic wimpy cuck MC who gets blackmailed and bossed around by others. What the fuck? Not only do you play as a spineless coward, you are also a voyeur and you watch your aunt getting fucked by literally EVERYONE except you. Now our pathetic cuck MC is also a voyeur who enjoys spying on the whole town running a train on his aunt, so according to the rules this is not technically NTR. But if you, the player, dont self identify as a pathetic cuck, it will certainly feel like it to you.

The visuals are okay, the writing of the "story" is terrible (but there barely is any), the pacing is terrible, our MC is too pathetic to push things so its really sloooooow burn (except for the other guys who fuck the aunt), the English is bad. Really, just a horrible game all around and incredibly deceptive considering what you read in the Overview.

This game it is the most similar to Second Chance [Masks]

Pros: Good looking renders

+/- People other than the MC get their dick wet waaaay before MC does and with people close to him. Might count as NTR for some.

Big Con: One hell of a slow burn. If you don't enable skipping unseen text and holding ctrl, it will be hours before the MC gets any action and hours more before he graduated from sleep-fondling to actually a blowjob or sex.
Seriously. I pretty much clicked as fast as I could and kind of skimmed the story and it still took me multiple HOURS to get to the good part. Sometimes you have 20 lines of just the MC going "awooga" and telling you how horny he is.

Am I really seeing what I'm seeing in games? Cuz it's certainly looks like I do the same review every damn time. Maybe it IS me... but here goes.

Another 2 Stars because awesome Mrs. Reigns design, and most of the others are hot too. But... we have the usual culprits:

-Waffling LI that go from hot to cold and back again just to delay the story.

The plot is...well, there's hardly any. You do get instances of character development, which is all very well and good, but the way the MC is treated...

...which brings us to the MC. He's an absolute loser who allows himself to get pushed around and blackmailed. It's also no fun seeing literally EVERYONE but him actually getting sex scenes. And by that, I mean ACTUAL sex. He and his mother have done everything but sex...which is actually pretty annoying at this point because their relationship is just stagnant now. Additionally, he's a voyeur, and an utter creep. His only shot with other women in the game is to take advantage of them when they'te unconscious, which is horrendous. There' s very little to like about our MC

Granted, there are some decent lewd scenes with the mother character, but the MC seems to be the only character not ACTUALLY having sex. He gets handjobs, blowjobs and titjobs, but that's about it. Meanwhile, we're occasionally interrupted from the regularly scheduled programming of the MC not hooking up with any of the other decent models to watch the aunt character getting railed by people we don't know or care about. When that's not happening, we watch the MC watching others having sex or stripping off like the voyeur loser he is

The writing itself is just incredibly difficult to not cringe at. One small positive about this, however, is that we, at long last, have a game where the sister(s, if we include the military girl) DON'T hate MC. Yet, that doesn't count for much if he's probably never going to get to hook up with either of them, anyway. Or ANY of the other female characters we get to (literally just) see

Right off the bat we have the MC's aunt cheating on her husband. You'd think in a game where you were the MC, it'd be you...morally wrong or not...but, nope. We're instantly dragged into an unnecessary scene where the aunt hooks up with a BBC. Because of course that tired trope needed to be added in yet again. And before she even gets to meet MC in person, she's already hooked up twice more. Then she meets MC and...nothing. Of course. Why? What purpose does that serve? As with EVERY female character who MC checks out, is she literally just there for him to peek at or mess with when she's out? And why the unnecessary sex scenes with aunt and anyone BUT the MC, then? The writing really is awful

Additionally, there's one character who shows up every once in a while to threaten/blackmail the MC. It's just repetitive and boring. MC contemplates finding a way out of this mess, but doesn't actually make any progress towards that goal. Much like him gawking at every woman he sees and getting absolutely nowhere with any of them (except if he spies on them like the loser he is), the cycle of blackmail continues to be the same old song and dance

The entire background revolving around gangs/the military serves no real purpose other than to add more confusing plot elements into the MC's life. It's really taking forever to go anynwhere or even hold my attention. It's just a plot element to prevent the MC from spying on women for longer, and just another demonstration of what's wrong with the game. Gang member shows up, mocks MC, leaves and the MC fumes, vows to get revenge, then immediately goes back to spying on women. Rinse and repeat. We don't have any progression there whatsoever

I guess it's fitting, albeit VERY disappointing, that this isn't a harem game. There are a bunch of really nice models there, but they don't have anything to do with MC at all...willingly! And IF by chance he's ever going to get any type of action with them (which they are either CONSCIOUS or CONSENTING to!!), it'll be a decade from now, because after hours of gameplay he hasn't managed to score with the ONE character who's actually giving MC junior an ounce of attention. So I wouldn't be holding my breath for anything to happen this decade

There are also a number of ridiculous "cock-block" elements (which, might I add, should be a tag, and fitting for this game). I recall an instance where the MC was FINALLY about to have sex, but of course, the plot kicked in and he had to stop then and there. After HOURS of getting absolutely no action, a knock on the door ruins our only shot. By far one of THE most frustrating pieces of gameplay I've ever experienced

By the grand finale, maybe the MC will be lucky enough to finally get his mother to let him have sex with her. And by that point, every other character in the game would've been hooking up with everyone else but him. Unless it is actually a harem game, but with everyone invited but MC himself. So there's no "harem" tag, which is accurate...but again, disappointing! A harem would've made this game brilliant. With better writing, of course!

I notice that there IS a vaginal sex tag here, however. And there is actual penetration in the game. BUT...frustratingly, it's not the MC partaking in it. There are only TWO instances of this actually happening. The first is a literal dream (of course...!!) and the second is when he forces himself on an unconscious character....which was my breaking point for tolerating this game. Yeah, what a "nice guy" huh? But otherwise, no sex for our "hero" (and I use that term lightly)

Another aspect of the game to touch upon are the countless missing image warnings that show up within the sex scenes (or in the case of the MC's, not-quite-sex scenes). For a finished version of 1-12, the number of warnings I spotted flashing up in my playthrough was staggering

There may or may not be any missing images in 13-14, which I'm certainly not checking out. I won't be finishing 1-12, because as bad as the rest of the game is, I MIGHT have been tempted to see where it went, in the hopes of seeing if the MC finally has a shot with any of the other characters or not, but I don't condone MC violating unconscious women so I refuse to continue with the game at all

A disappointing 1 star...and that star belongs SOLELY to the model designs. But, again, the fact that the models are good is almost redundant. It's not like they'll ever get with the MC anyway. There is nothing worth recommending about this game. The title itself can be interpreted as the MC's mindset...taking advantage of women, not getting consent, is definitely what some might consider "Sinful". As for "delicacies" - they may be a reference to all the "delicacies" (women/sex) he couldn't get if they actually had any idea what was going on

Its a porn slideshow. we look at it to see sexy time with that beatiful milf. Its been a fun ride till now. Even if the Engrish makes me laugh from time to time. But those half assed "animations" in the latest episodes make me physically ill from looking at them. Might be some motion sickness type of thing. But i can't look at this anymore. Never had this with anything else ever before though. And since episode one the intro video - destroys my poor hearing - be warned

Review for Sinful Delicacies Ep.17:

Models: Good. Female characters range from average to excellent.
Renders: Average. The render quality is grainy most of the time--like renders from VNs released in 2017 or so. Renders improve in later updates, but not as much as they should.
Animations: Poor. Just 2-frame animations and they suck.
Story: Below Average. The story is shallow and also all over the place, it's also inconsistent and cringeworthy (e.g., how the MC can act like an action hero in one scene and trip over his own shadow in another). It's like the author tried to throw in all of the ideas he got from watching crime/spy/action movies, but didn't succeed at making any of them entertaining. The story just feels like it was written by an adolescent. For most players, the "skip unseen text" option will be their friend.
Writing: Average. Many spelling and grammar mistakes with the translation. Typical for adult VNs written by non-native English speakers.
Gameplay: Poor, by its own definition. The game tutorial says "This game adapts to the choices you make" but it doesn't. Choices don't matter. Proof is that when players start a Episode 13 which is a separate game, it doesn't transfer any information from Episodes 1-12; therefore, it ignores every choice the player made in Episodes 1-12. Also, there are dozens of bugs with dialogue attributes (i.e., who says what is frequently wrong) making it sometimes difficult to "play".
Sex scenes: Average to Poor. Good visuals, but cringy and stupid dialogue. The developer has a poor understanding of erotica.

Other: Everybody loves Mrs. Reigns and she's obviously the "money-maker" of the game. The relationship with Mrs. Reigns is a slow burn to milk that money as long as possible and I don't have a problem with that. However, shortly after the MC can have sex with her, something changes in the story and players are back to square one. [Edit: the MC finally has sex with Mrs. Reigns again in Ep 16.] Updates have a decent amount of content but the developer's release cadence is so slow and his communications are so poor that the game gets the [abandoned] tag between releases. That's a good indication to players that developer isn't monitoring player feedback and players shouldn't expect the game to improve.

Overall, the game just isn't great at anything.

MC is a doofus, the girls are hot though, but as others have said, some of the decisions he makes are dumb af, and it's one massive cocktease with your mom... idk... the plot at least has some variety and adventure and there is at least an antagonist and MC has problems.

Will stick around to see if MC ever actually fucks the mom and what kind of effects and/or consequences ((if any) that has.

EDIT - Ok so but that still doesn't change my star rating. However the sex scenes are pretty good and hot, I would therefore call this the McDonalds of Adult VNs - you know what you're getting and if you just skip through most of the dialogue then it's alright.

great renders, 5 star for that portion of the vn, only to be backed up by some of the dumbest writing i've come across, let me correct that the writing for the non sexual parts of the story are ok, not great but worth the read, it's the sexual parts that are written in pure stupidity that throws the whole thing off. It's so bad I just have to stop and take a break out of frustration, but I've read it this far i will come back to finish the story and for the renders and non sexual parts, to see how things play out with ella and dad.
