RenPy preferences text always missing..

Every RenPy game i play the text in the preferences/ options is always missing.

Try pressing Shift+G when the game opens to open a menu that has a graphics acceleration option. Change the option from "Automatically Choose" to one of the others listed. Then press quit, reopen the game and see if the text is there, if not try one of the others listed. I got mine to work by choosing DirectX.
