For the next pending SanchoMod maintenance update:
To further clarify what Ch6 Hotel scene variant the Player will see when choosing a specific choice I've dynamically coded the ChoiceGuide even further. Now each choice in the below menu will each dynamically change information given depending on the Player's current stat status. Everything is taken into account so you can know this guide info is solid every time you see it (like always).
Here's some various examples of that in practice in different playthroughs with differing previous choices made:
Between this pending update and the last (the replied to post) the Player should no longer have any confusion about Liv's standard relp pathing and consequences or Liv's Dark sub pathing and consequences.... I hope.
Quick question, if chapter 1 makes me feel getting dumber with each sentence on screen ... is it getting better later on or is this how the whole game is written?

Love this game, but I think I discovered a bug in Ch5. When I have followed the correct path with Liv to get the option to "Deceive and Use her", the scene loops seemingly showing it with two different paths one after the other.

This happens a lot in the game with the dark path. In one moment the MC speaks like a complete psychopath and in seconds like a normal guy. It is one of my criticisms of the game. I know it's difficult to change the dialogue so much but sometimes it can take you out of the immersion.

Nah, this actually is a bug (there was a missing jump after the first two choices) that has now been reported and will be fixed in the next version. Them seeing that dialogue isn't by design. That being said it doesn't break anything, so anyone who encounters it can just proceed through the second round of dialogue and choose "Let Her Stay" after making their Dark choices.
Reported the bug, will be fixed. Just choose "Let Her Stay" in the second choice menu and dw, it won't break anything.

All you need to do to unlock the Dark scene at the end of Ch6 is get her "scared" points to 7.
The more direct approach is to outright reject her until Ch5 when she comes into your room at night, then choose "Deceive & Use Her."
Not that I know of. Can you point out the specific scene that you think is bugged/looping so I can look into it?

- By request made dialogue text size adjustment recalled on a per save basis (it remains non-persistent).
- Expanded ChoiceGuide for the Ep6 Hotel main choice menu to provide additional info for the Player as to which scene variant will be populated. Examples of this dynamic information (changes in real-time) can be seen in a post above here.

The Dark Hotel scene variant is that way by design... it's starts with the mini-Dark variant and then proceeds to what is normally seen in the Relp variant (the lewd position choices, dialogue, images, etc). Otherwise there would be no ending for the Dark variant... it uses the mid to ending of the Relp scene variant (they both end the same way).

Yes but there is a clear continuity error. In that dark scene you already had sex with her. but then when the normal content comes she says she won't be a virgin anymore.

I get what scene you're talking about, I'm asking if you can be specific about the part that loops. I'm looking at the code currently and the jumps seem to be appropriate/normal. After the forced scene, the MC says she seems ready for more and then it jumps to c6_liv_sex, which shows him kissing her tits. Then we go from that to him going down on her.
This is not a bug/looped, this is by design. Even if you force her, he initiates normal sex with her after the fact. So I just want to make sure I'm not missing something so I can report it, if what you're saying is in fact a bug.

This is true... but I've been chalking it up to a dialogue issue that can be fixed later rather than a conditional/label coding issue.

Gotcha. I'll look into that instead then. When you said "looping," I assumed you meant a bug. Continuity issues like the one you're referencing can easily be fixed, assuming they're reported.
Actually getting people to report these things (the proper way) is a bit harder...

I found and reported the continuity issues you mentioned. They'll be fixed in the next version.
You said this is something that bothers you a bit: please do consider joining the game's Discord and posting these issues/errors when you find them in the "bug-reports" channel. The dev is always willing to fix stuff like this. Generally speaking when you see a continuity issue between the dark/romance paths, it's a mistake... as there's a lot to keep track of. The more people who are reporting the issues like this, the less it will happen.
If someone had reported them prior to now: they would have been fixed by the time 0.6.2 came out. Testers won't catch everything, so players should pitch in and help out when they can too.
The only part of the normal sex scene that doesn't really make sense/fit is the first section of the missionary scene. The rest makes sense well enough (by porn logic) and the continuity errors were not intentional.
