HTML - Power of Will [v0.058f] [G28]

There's a really nice premise here, essentially that young male fantasy of what if I was leader of the country and could make girls being naked the law! Lots of interesting setups of what laws you may pass, if you'll be benevolent or a dictator, if you'll enslave your fallen opposition or bring them to your side, etc. There's overall a lot of potential here.

I suspect it's going to be a problem of too much potential though.. I fear this might be a case of biting off more than you can chew. There are A LOT of characters, and most of them let you pick from multiple personalities types for each one which multiplies the effective character count 3x. I highly question how thorough and in-depth these relationships being introduced can really be with that much variable content on the horizon. Especially as systems and characters start interacting.

It's also just not a whole lot of content right now, and the game just stops you and says 'that's the end for now!' after a few days even though you've not nearly explored all the content that is there. I wouldn't hold a game being early-in too much against it normally, but the aforementioned ambitious scope feels like it makes it relevant.

It's overall a game to keep an eye on, I certainly will because I do love the premise. But it's nothing exceptional right now.

This and College Daze (same developer) are my absolute favourite games on this site.

The writing is fantastic and even if you just skip reading the texts and only read your choices, you still understand most of whats going on (I know this because in my first playthrough I didnt expect this good of writing and didnt bother).
The current version (v0.04b) has limited content in length but the variety of possibilities is already promising a very well made and interesting game.
I love that we can actually decide between different personalities for the cast (and I think that that will drastically influence possibilities in the future).

I love the developer.

His writing style if fun. The ability to take different methods to get to the same points is really interesting. College Daze is likely my favorite game of all time, and this one, while certainly different theme has the same great work.

Just when you though College Daze was good, the creator said "hold my beer" and one upped their own stuff.

Seriously, this is quite the impressive improvement upon an already sexually fantastic adventure like College Daze was. With even more choice that matters, more replayability, more sexual content, more kinks, more customization, more more more!

Of course we're only at a super early version, but already I spent close to five hours combing though the different paths you can take and there's still more branches to explore. This is actually the game I'm most looking forward now to seeing completed, and may very well get me to support the creator.

Honestly this feels like a Civilizations game with a bunch of sexual intrigue and futuristic corruption options available to you, probably a dictators wet dream to be honest.

This might end up replacing ASFA as my #1 favorite porn game if things go the right way, but for now, I'll wait till a 0.5 version before I go down that route.

This game currently doesn't have a lot of length, but it does have a lot of width and depth. So far you can only finish one day, and it doesn't take you a long time to do so. Normally only having that short a length after nearly half a year of development would be a big negative. However, that isn't the case here due to the amount of content and variation in that content that is available in that day. You can decide the personality of almost every single person you deal with out of multiple, and sometimes contrasting, choices, and even this early it is clear that what you choose affects the outcomes of things. The same can be said for your many dialog choices, as well as for the effects of your stats on what you can and can't do. There is a lot of variation here, as well as interesting characters and good writing. I definitely recommend the game, and hopefully in a year the length issue will be fixed as well .

Really solid first day complete, shows great promise.
The authors previous work is stellar, but suffers from some scope screep at the later periods that bloats the game with 20 choices for one “evening”, but this hasnt happened to this one yet.
The author removed the option to play a female protag, which honestly is a positive just because he shows willingness to reduce scope, which means this might be more streamlined later.
Im probably gonna play it even it it bloats later tho, as it delivers excellent writing and a pretty fun gameplay loop where there is so much to find.
Super start, cant wait to see how this goes from here . 5Stars for now

It looks very promising and given College Daze amazing corruption and variation in paths, this is sure going to be a banger. As of v0.04, the game is barren and that can harm the rating, but again, G28 has another game with a proven success. My only fear is that due to the scale of both College Daze and this one, it would be finished in years upon years, as it took over a month to advance from v0.025 to v0.04. At this phase, it would take over 3 years to finish.

Nonetheless, the 5 stars go from having many things I like, such as corruption, "incest", bombification, and various choices to choose from.

Another banger by G28. Can't wait to see this masterpiece unfold. To the reviewer before me who said that the problem with this game is the same problem as with College Daze, that you can't see all content in a single playthrough- THAT IS HOW CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE GAMES WORK. If you could see all content in a single playthrough, then choices wouldn't matter and it wouldn't really be a choose your own adventure game.

Well the premise is interesting, mechanics seem to be real good, I do have a problem with the amount of branching, while it's a nice too have, too much of it will seriously impede development, if that won't be a issue it's a top notch game.

Huge positives are the variety, the optionalities of being a complete douche, there is huge potential in this one, definitely keeping an eye out.

Already really enjoy College Daze, only issue I have is this is such an early version. On the surface it really seems like a ton of interesting stuff is planned. Really looking forward to where this goes.

awesome first release, my only critique is that I wish there was an option when it says why you never got along for there to be an option that says the MC was adopted, I dont like it when the MC is related to everyone else but I do like it when they are related to each other, even if the game almost never mentions that again later. that's really the only critique i have, the rest of the game is awesome.

Edit: apparently there is an "other" cheat that i missed that does exactly what i want.

It's in a very early stage at the time of my review.

I don't like the character choice, but that's just my taste and not a point against the game. In fact, since it's HTML they can be easily replaced with other galleries.

The game right now seems to be about being in a position of power and deciding whether you'll abuse it to force yourself into others or not.

There's very little content right now, but I'm interested in seeing where this one goes.

As developer stated you have to put scene request which means they need money, for any new add too to their story or modifications of any kind.

Note: I never been to other site so I wouldn't know this, putting out here on review so other people know better, stop being crude man to people asking bluntly.

F/F and M/F is as far as story goes, there no rebuild back society.
Its not made into rebuild kingdom back it more of porn story and nothing else.

Strangely I think it would hot if rebuild society and made it better or enslaved only wicked but you chose only hear paid customers. Only one sided view we see in this game which means view of someone wanted break them, or someone who wanted release and be destroyed or final view neutral view where everything remains the same.

Likes or dislikes: Liked probably science part of game depends mostly on settings, dislike, restraint on being modified like Male Mc if he went to lab he could double penises and higher libido? Female MC never get third boob?

Strangely scientist chick at insane manner doesn't do strange stuff like inject male leader with stuff make him super? Or have sex with him I was thinking heh that is it.

Play times: male MC 4x , start of Female MC 2x I couldn't play it anymore than that.

Male MC bug I ran into irritated me was strange ambassador glitch which has strange issue. Might want iron it out.

Other parts I think he should have given slave collars or pills that transformed people into devoted slaves.

Great start, I like that you can choose the MC gender from the start and while I mostly play as female MC for F/F content, both MC gender seems to get equal amount of content.

Another thing that I like is you can define a starting relationship with the main characters. Between that and the fact your choices and stats can change certain outcome or decision you can take, it makes a very replayable game and I lost count on how many times I replay the game.

I also like the theme and the setting. Being a leader of a post civil war modern country that need to decide on the fate of traitors and juggle between 2 superpower bloc is certainly unique. Whether you play as a benevolent leader or abuse the power could make an interesting scenario either way, and I'm really interested to see more of this.

Overall, I give it 5 stars and I'm looking forward for future releases.

Update: I played this game for the female MC but you can't play as female MC anymore in future releases. The things I mentioned regarding the setting and the choices you can make probably still apply and if you're here for the male MC then nothing changes for you. But I'm here for the female MC and this is no longer a game for me, so I've updated the review to 3 stars.

Has a potential but i didnt like the part of that "thats the end wait for update" BS. Let people grind, some random scenes maybe. Promising future HTML game, pretty good executed coding. Didnt saw any glitch or bug.

Strong beginning, I can see this going off and expanding in a wide variety of ways. This initial start sets the groundwork and there doesn't seem to be a huge grind to get things going. I personally am not a fan of having to replay multiple times to get all the context but I appreciate being able to tailor relationships to your own preference.

Giving it 5 stars due the quality release, replayability and potential.

The dev clearly is following a "genre" he used on his previous game, College Daze. There seems to have a little more effort in the plot, less focus on "random" special powers, and focusing on a theme which gave him success on his previous game.

As mentioned, the game is still on the earliest releases, but it is noticeable the effort from the dev to polish a formula he already had sucess. And since it's an whole new project, then probably the organization in coding will help him to develop the story faster than it's predecessor. It isn't a masterpiece yet, but I'm sure it will.

College Daze already was a masterpiece, and with the polish will probably reinforce that. My only con is that I would like a bit customization on some characters (like for example, allowing the brother's wife to actually be your sister and the brother being the husband). After, I like a "good guy" route with the family members, and on this game and previous, both relationships with the sisters started on the wrong foot. And protecting your sister as a victim would be cool, instead of every sibling being a dick. The fact you can only slave the (actual) sister feels meh to me. This is just an example, but I would like a bit more customization in that part. I have no idea if that's possible according to the story of this game, but at least some characters of College Daze did, I even focused as only family members having power for example when modding myself by fun. Nothing gamebreaking but yeah, customization is always cool

Anyway as I hinted above, the replayability will be a major pro in this game. Sure it doesn't have much yet due early releases, but I'm sure it will have in the future, and besides the sexy stuff, the replayability is what makes a game good and memorable for me.

Easy 5 stars from me, not only due quality release, but also due dev's history, fan engagement and quality product. Depends only from the dev to continue the quality. Definitely worth of supporting.

Giving it 4 stars purely for interesting themes so I'd like to encourage the creator to continue. But beyond that here isn't much to do/read here yet, basically just an intro, so not really much to rate.

It got potential to be a very great game with a lot of choices, consequences etc.

Played the first day through and already cant wait anymore for more. I love it <3

promising start , the story seems interesting and the world building too. there is a few bugs for now but the overall gameplay is good.
as for things to improve i would sugest to make the UI a bit more modern and maybe leave a bit more space to images.
