Not sure if this is the right place but can we get a pointless choice tag? It seems that many developers just add pointless choices to their games just to get around the kinetic novel tag. All it does is at best change a few lines and then goes back to whatever they had planned. It's essentially the same as playing a kinetic novel, and I wish there was a way of knowing so before I go in.
