So at this point if you are a Dev and want to publish a game you only have 3 ways to do it?

A) Want to publish an uncensored game with any kink or queer content? Well, you have to go to subscribestar.adult and deal with their high fees
B) lunch your own site, invest in a domain, a vpn and a safe pay/subscription method
C) stay in patreon, modify any type of kink content (then patched off-site like lewdpatcher in case for incest) or censor-delete any kind of content that aren't cool with patreon's policy.

The way i see this is, for a Dev who is starting or wants to start and don't have the backers and isn't know in the community of adult games is F**KED if the Dev want to include incest, hypnosis, bestiality of any kind of content that "glorifies" (sexual) violence in their game according to patreon's community guide line.

well that sucks :(

yeah... I've been looking for a solution for months since my art skills are non-existent and people are greedy. Subscribestars's TOS scares me, "We may, but have no obligation, to monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, inappropriate, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service. " And Sponsorion's is basically "it's all cool with us as long as it's animated," which would work, but they don't really exist.

Any searches I come up with for "adult content patreon alternatives" are all for "cam girls" and "phone sex" which is kinda... yeah... or ancient threads on here. Kinda like this one. *hides*

I'm surprised no one mentionned it here yet, but Pixiv's "Patreon-like" site called Pixiv FANbox has been allowing payment of creators through Paypal since early June. Which basically means "western creators are now allowed" (since you needed a Japanese Bank account before). Even though it's far from being as complete as Patreon (and of course, patrons can't use Paypal for their pledges), the fact that's it's in Japan and in english is way enough for me to justify opening a page here (especially if you do borderline content like mine). Between this and Booth (Pixiv's creator store which ALSO allows creator to be paid through Paypal) they're really becoming a great place for creators to be able to create whatever content they want. Here's the link if you want more details:
