He's posted on Newgrounds, Itch and probably did some marketing somewhere else
No idea if it's a thing, but maybe he even bought Patreon bots for funding to make it seem more popular than it is ?
I just can't imagine it growing that fast without some kind of magic lol

People seem to fund games they like / with potential
From what I've seen so far, like Daggander mentioned, it's just a Lewdmod clone
I'm personally not impressed by AI art in general, and don't find it interesting or arousing
But I can understand some liking it, especially when you have less "experience" in the H games genre
But of course, I appreciate when it's well implemented, it can be nice, but I just avoid 99% of AI works unless some specific reason

Well if you buy the donations yourself you prolly only have to spend a fraction of the 3.6k$ as most of the money goes to yourself and you essentially only pay the patreon fee as the taxes can get written off for shenanigans like this.

Yes AI Art can be good if well implemented but the game is simply shit imo. Its like captchas as a game where you train googles image recognition AI. Pass this game if you think your times worth anything.

Yeah, tbh I wouldn't see it as a possibility, it'll be a pain to setup as well and probably against Patreon ToS

His game seems to get attention on NewGrounds, so that's where his funding might be coming from and probably other sites / adsense marketing

I agree, this game just seems like a low effort cash grab, but hey, if there's demand for it, ggs for the dev I guess lol

I'll keep making my game and focus on quality, I'll probably never get that amount of funding, but what matters most for me is that I deliver something I'm proud of (inspired by old school Jrpgs like golden sun, fun exploration, puzzles, light story, and currently working on making the battle system fun)

I'm not gonna quote all that, but on the topic of AI art and porn games, I've come to accept the fact that most of what's on here is derivative garbage anyway, with or without filtering generative art out. I've gone from moral rejection of AI slop to morbid curiousity. The problem with AI isn't that an artist on the internet is creatively bankrupt and sleazy, but the incredible waste of time, money, labor, and lithium that fast crappy art needs as infrastructure.
