The bitch of the problem is the question whether Nagoo can afford to put animating on hold (assuming this is a side gig and not main source of income), to divert that attention to whatever health problems arose, if any, along with that "normal IRL job" thing (clearly - bills STILL refuse to pay themselves, cheeky bastards). The goal should be to reduce the load, not bruteforce through. Look at it this way: if you struggle to do some things when you are fit as a fiddle, how likely are you to get better at doing those exact same things when your health is severely compromised? As the saying goes: this is a marathon, not a sprint.

I hope not, because I fail to see how that announcement would accomplish anything but fuel all that nagging and moaning. Then again, filtering that "noise" out is like any other skill: takes daily practice to stay in shape. And the sensible part of the userbase is, well, sensible.

I would say "survival bias": some creators just never draw attention to it - or never mention it at all. Some get through, some do not. Plus, of course, Patreon is one of the biggest platforms - hardly makes it the "only" platform to have that issue, it probably is as simple as "the one you hear most often about".
It's not that simple when it comes to art. Artists, oftentimes, take a lot of pride in what they create. If their mental state is causing them to see recent works in a negative light, a reduced workload isn't gonna help that. That's also not how mental health works. It's not like a physical injury where you can just "push through" the pain. Nagoo's animation job, whether it be his main job or just a thing on the side, also requires him to be online to promote his works. Arguably one of the worst places you can be when mentally unwell. I'd love for him to continue on through it because it feels like I've been waiting on this Yuffie animation forever, but it's just not feasible.

What negative comments? Nagoo has to be one of the most universally loved porn animators out there. He ain't no X3D where even the people in F95 are sick of his shit lol
I'm talking about people who have been bugging him to release content every month. It may seem small but it's been eating up content creators like him. They feel like they have to put out to stay relevant to the algorithm or the following. Otherwise they believe eventually people will stop supporting them. Just like freelancing, there's not guarrantee platforms and supporters will continue to support next year or within the next month. It's a mental struggle they deal with.

Patreon (where most his paying supporters are) has also released a statement saying certain content themes are not allowed anymore. This includes content that don't have women explicitly consenting to the sex or if the women are seen bound during sex. Anything non con in nature can be flagged for removal and can lead his account to be banned. So a lot of his old content themes are no longer allowed to be released on the platform.

I also think that artists who make longer animations always get into trouble, several great artists have given up or disappeared after trying to make big animations for several months.

And Naggo is one of the best, if not the best of all.
