HTML My First Twine Game: Fighting Dreams [Development Thread]

I've been working on my first Twine game for a while now. It's still in the early stages, a bit rough around the edges, but I thought it would be great to release it and get some feedback.

Here's a little insight into the tools I used for creating the game:
  • Blender: Characters.
  • Stable Diffusion: Enhancing renders.
  • Twine

The game is inspired by Punch Club.
Soon I will be uploading images of the characters.
My idea is to launch the game and update it and then keep making games. If the game works well I could make games in Defold or Godot, otherwise I'll keep making games in html, which is easier.

The faces of the characters are the most important thing, our 3D model can be more or less good, but if the faces look good, everything looks better. For example, in a visual novel you can have the characters in 3D with different poses and only improve their faces or use a reference actress. Improving the rendering is optional, there are people who reject the use of AI. I will NOT use real reference people.

I use AI to improve the rendering a bit, but you can increase it as much as you want.

The combat system works like this:
Your character and enemies have three stats: strength, agility and vitality. Each attack consumes a certain amount of energy, to charge it you have to block. When you block you receive half of the damage. If you hit when the pointer is in the green zone, the damage multiplier increases.

Now I just need the story to be good and I will upload the first version of the game xD

Nice UI, is it responsive?

My main concern about the fighting game is: will it be sexy?

In my opinion this kind of gameplay is often seen as a major obstacle to the porn part of the game, which is why most players tend to stay away from games with the "turn-based battle" tag (don't quote me on that, just my general feeling). Especially in RPGM, those sections tend to be long, tedious and stand between the player and the juicy part. There are ways to fix this though, either by making porn part of the gameplay (take Waifu Fighters for example, where girls lose clothing as they take damage, and fights are interrupted by juicy CGs), or making the gameplay sections short and immediately followed by sex on victory or sex on defeat.

I like the concept, and a HTML mobile-friendly sandbox game is an absolute yes for me.

First of all, thank you very much for leaving a comment.
Confined and Horny is an example of quality to follow.

The interface is designed for mobile, but it looks okay on PCs and is responsive.

For me, it's important to find a balance between the mechanics being a challenge and not an obstacle.

My idea was to make the player have to do something to get the reward. I thought about making it a tic-tac-toe game, but I didn't know how to balance the AI. Then I thought about making it a rock-paper-scissors game, but it's very random. In the end, I went with this option, it's simple, the closer to green the more damage, you can win easily and it's not as tedious as mashing buttons to advance.

The story is still to be decided, I'm still touching up parts of it. In most HTML games, the combat or RPG part is an excuse for the player to have some mechanics in addition to the main story, and the porn part is way ahead in the story.

As this is my first game, I think that part will be balanced out by people's feedback. I'm now building the base of the game so that it's easy to grow it later on.

I have some questions about the game:

The game is visually attractive, but how will the scenes be done? Real porn, any other software? Or the game will be based on undressing the characters during the fight, for example.

Will the game have a male or female main character?

What kind of fetishes does the game target?

How did you improve the rendering on SD? I'm also developing a game and I use SD to upscale using some models, but in addition to improving the quality, it generates shadows, details in clothes and things like that.

I'd love for you to give your opinion on my game, the topic is here on the forum too, you have good taste in terms of visuals, something that I value a lot in games of this type.
