@Sycho the installation guide points to Wine Staging 2.21. It should be updated to point to 3.19.

@Faerin
There's a problem running MotH on Windows 10 build 1809 with the latest updates installed. I checked several other Unity games (from f95), and some of them still work, some of them suddenly stopped working. So I suppose some versions of the Unity player don't play well with the latest MSFT updates. It's not AV (apparently a common cause of 0xc0000005 access violations) - the error still happens when I disable the folders from scanning.
I'll (try to) send evtx-files in PM, hopefully it'll help you help me and others with the same issue :). If you need anything else, just ask.

What kind of problem? Like the game wont start start at all? No splash screen, where you can set your screen resolution etc.?

Just a silent crash, like nothing happened. I've sent Faerin the eventlog entries. Timestamps and Glamour crash, My wife's a star and Bell Master still work.

I just checked the game on my Win 10 1809 VM (latest updates) and it works. Are you sure it is not a problem on your side... Did you install or uninstall something recently?

Go here:

When you click the "Download" button, make sure you select the appropriate update for your system.

32-bit OS: Windows6.1-KB2670838-x86.msu
64-Bit OS: Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu

Don't download both files.

After installation, restart your computer and try playing MotH.

Next time use the search function or look into the troubleshoot thread! (Do not hit enter but instead click on search)
