Just finished the game and... come on, really? That's it? Two hours and a half/maybe three just for a shitty ending like that?

It's pretty damn obvious that this game wants to be in a certain sense, a "Amnesia wannabe" because of the "story" (which is just a little erotic, while Amnesia it's more psychological horror and well done indeed) and the locations, but other than that? Purely trash. And here I was hoping for a somewhat good title. Not awesome, not perfect or anything, but just good that could've keeped me at least six to eight hours. Also, the puzzles? The heck was that? Those were WAY to easy. At least Amnesia put some effort in there in trying, here instead nothing at all, just created and then put them inside as it is!

What a shame. Something that could've been good (or maybe awesome, why not?), ended up like this.

THANK YOU
btw do you know if someone will upload Agony to ?
For that, I believe that via torrent can be the only way. The game itself it's 12.5 GB if not more, to the point that making direct link will be a "tragedy" xD

I'm a backer of this project, there is only one disappointment: No vaginas. Lots of penises though, but that selective censorship gives me a peeves. Female genitalia is airbrushed out, they are mannequins. Still, plenty of erotic and even sexual content even though sex animations look slow and unrealistic. I guess it's a bit fappable. Left a comprehensive review on Steam if you're curious about the content and quality.

Dev is literally enforcing the fact that nothing has been censored. Well, if you purposefully create mannequins for female bodies then nothing has to be censored indeed.

@Warsteel & @popober

Please argue over PM where people who want to discuss this game don't have to read it to find what they're looking for. Thanks.

At least on Agony these are interesting XD
Won't be any better than that though. Agony Unrated got CANCELLED, some legal and technical issues they claim. Now they have financial problems. They wouldn't have this issue if they released Agony Unrated in the first place, and did a censored Agony later for squeamish players that get heart attacks from vaginas and POV sex scenes, and for console players. So Madmind got literally destroyed by Publisher contracts and censorship police dedicated to keeping them down in the dirt among the other generic demon games.

I played through Agony, and was thoroughly disappointed with the game, yet this game was a lot more fun for me. Whilst the game played more like a linear 'go here and then go here' type of game, it had interactive environments and a semi decent story, with some really well detailed objects. I know the actual characters looked a little off, but I wasn't really too bothered about it.

Agony was a pain to play and massively underwhelming for the hype it built for itself. Lust for Darkness was subtle, a nice bit of mystery, a cliche villain and some good voice acting.

I thank you for the share.

Yep, in fact I got to know Lust for Darkness via Agony's kickstarter campaign. I backed both. While Agony is more extensive, Lust for Darkness covers more sexual content, if you can call it that. Though they both seem to possess some level of vaginaphobia. Also another difference is, Madmind Studios didn't lie about the fact that Agony was censored, while Movie Games Lunarium are in denial. They believe that because female models were designed without genitalia that the game isn't censored. In fact, this was a measure they took to prevent censorship and getting their holy Mature rating. Agony may have had an excuse because they promised console versions, which they did deliver and they sell in retail stores only Mature or higher. Lust for Darkness does not, it's pure digital copy for PC and sold on Steam. Steam games don't need to be rated. All in all, even with its faults I still enjoyed Lust for Darkness more than Agony.

Actually I think the lore of Lust for Darkness has more potential for depth than Agony. You can see many things are designed on purpose here and give one more questions than answers. Alas, dev never launched an official lore book, instead they made these side stories which were part of the Kickstarter campaign. But to those who complain that Lust for Darkness didn't have enough sexual content, let's be clear that this game is a psychological horror with erotica elements, not your average porn game on F95zone.

One of the dev frequently talks on Steam forums and told me they MIGHT release something close to lore to the universe surrounding Lust for Darkness. There are just many ways to write another story. For instance, I'd like to experience Amanda's descent in the Cult of Ecstasy, or step in the shoes of a new protagonist where Amanda becomes a recurring character or a guide/temptress during your journey through Lusst'ghaa. With eventually the player making a choice to keep the idea alive, or seal the dimensions from each other once and for all. Moral choices with consequences are the best, it's a pity we weren't allowed any in the original Lust for Darkness.
