Sorry but i dont know much about this game just that this is a money drain, is there any edited mod that unlocks the paywalls?
the thing is, the main version of the game is online only so they have full control of the content. it never gets to your pc in a shareable form, the offline version and the chapters from itch.io have the premium content expunged. the only way to see those scenes is 15$ a month...

The fact that a game with this level of greed exists and yet the dev behind it is making this much.

Proves that there is in fact a demand of Dota 2 adult games. The reason why the dev is making that much is because he/she is monopolizing the entirety of Dota 2 Porn gamespace. Should you, reading this post, a potential dev, please take note that if you were to create something of a game that of an equal quality with a less egregious monetization plan, you will literally claim half if not most of this creator's patrons and make way more than he does. I'd if I don't have a day job as a software engineer because the money's already there, just need to work to claim it.

I regret to inform you that you are looking for a unicorn. It would have to be a team of devs/artists at the minimum, then I could potentially see it happening, but getting that off the ground is not exactly easy without funding. The problem is, funding isn't easy to come by in a space that often is associated with vaporware. Even if you do get a credible group of people together, most people wouldn't front the money to fund the development of it until a patreon can get rolling into sustainability levels.

i love the art but the attempt to monetize his game like a greedy Triple A studio basically kills it for me.
its only of those game if it was a normal pay scheme i would probably pay over and over, but because its not and he trys locking down everything. i don't even download and play the free way.

Why is this junk still getting updated? 99% of the content is locked and no one has been able to get access to it.
I think it would be possible using a MITM proxy like fiddler with an account that has full access to the game, and then copying responses and files from the paid online only version, and working from there. Though I can't actually verify this would work since I am not paying for this mess lol.

That just sounds like a headache.

Pretty sure every business requires funding whether it being sponsored, or devs themselves fork out their own money. But what separates this specific title (dota 2 porn game) than usual business is:
The negative:
1) The ethic and the stigmatization of porn that turns most devs off as it cannot be used to strengthen their resume even within the game dev space.
2) Porn Game Devs, dont' get company benefits most of the time. Insurance, tax cuts.... etc... depending on the country.
3) Getting said group of people working together for the long haul can the most challenging part of the dev process be it the programmer or the artist with artist being more obvious to the public attention given the obvious change in art direction. So I agree with you on this one. P,S it is not impossible because I myself am a software engineer, and my network allows me to find artists, riggers, 3d modeller, animators pretty easily cuz it's where I studied, we have events that get people working together for projects or competitions... The reason why i was deterred from delving into the porn industry, despite its easy money, it's because point #1 and #2 and I'm not desperate enough to need the additional income.

The Positive:
1) With substantial quality that is set at a pretty low bar for it to start generating income be it not as much as what Titdang is earning now. It's relatively close to being entry level work. A few interns from each game dev category can kickstart it even at a low cost to none as long as it shows that it is promising. Also, do note that it has taken Titdang years to get to where he is now and that is with the egregious monetization, I am pretty sure that his followers do not appreciate what he's doing either, if they are offered with a different monetization plan that is more reasonable, I'm 100% sure, they will take it.

2) This is a guaranteed success should the quality of the game meets the public expectation which is set at a very low bar thanks to Titdang's current project/game. Because of this, the team in which required to work on the game doesn't really need to be a big one. It can easily be a side income for many developers should the project is managed correctly.

So for those who are like beginning in the game dev industry, and desperate for money, I think making another game similar to what Tit dang is offering that its setting is based on well established IP (Just don't touch Nintendo's property) can be pretty profitable. Just look at Rogue Like (X men), This game (Dota2), Something Unlimited (DC Universe) etc..
