If you've a controller attached to the pc, try removing it and then see. Otherwise try to use the controller. Maybe it's that!

If you want just the gallery mode, then read the "extra information".
Otherwise, as far as I know, nope. I tried to use cheat engine, but doesn't work unfortunately. I'll check the ULMF thread once in a while to see if someone came up with something and then I'll write it here.

Yeah, I tried starting over and it froze again. I think it might have been a combination of deleting the save data folder setting compatibility mode and then running the quality tool.

i don't know if this was the reason, but after i changed the name of the folder to the name of the .exe file the game started to work
