The possession have a large cooldown 6 digit and does not work all the time. Enemy can block it and you are stuck as a ghost. You can also be a petrify as a statue even your our a ghost and have no body. Also Doriana start is just brokenly op due to weak poison

You open the bat file which look like a console command and wait for a couple of minute to load the asset then you can start the the game by pressing new, Don't forget to set up the preference because setting don't save when next time you are booting up.

I have seen what you are talking about, where it seems to take FOREVER between casting spells and it might be caused by the MC being transformed.
I never paid attention to it, but that might be a thing in this game, where being transformed into certain animals or monsters can increase the cool down or outright remove your spell casting abilities.

used to you could train spells by repetadly casting them... my memory is foggy but i belive they changed that system so that its affected by some stat thats hard to train now. shame the other system i think while grindy was better as each level up reduced that spells cooldown.

Is it me or there is no blob and tentacle that I can find, There is no file on what it's look like. The only clue that I know is that it mention in the update file. I think the checking the preference of image has something in the contribution of the game constant freezing but it just my thought in the matter.

Do you have the full version of the game? (You can check in the top left). The version linked here isn't the full version nor is it up to date. Someone earlier in the thread linked this:

Wow, I expected nothing and I still got disappointed. Can't go 10 minutes into getting a "null" string in the command box, some lame IRL porn gifs that are dramatized, AI art tucked away so no good way of looking at it, clunky combat, and weird enemies that either hurt you, do jack all or get themselves stuck. Weird, weird game.

To play you have to run the "lofg.bat" file. If you are suspicious of .bat files, open it with note pad, you'll see that the only thing it does is starting a java application (which is the game)
Once the windo is open, go to "game" (top left) then "new" (I would suggest doing the tuto first)

If you have a PC with a lot of RAM, I would suggest editing the start lofg.bat file and change
-Xmx4096m
into
-Xmx8192m
It will allow the game to use 8G of RAM instead of 4. (The game crashed on my PC when animation were enabled and a lot of different actions were done)

Please add a storyline and a regular starting map, that you don't need to load via new.

I haven't noticed this in the modes.
