In real life this is actually a random trait that is inherited by certain genes at certain time of birth. This is why there is a date and time of birth for those spiritual fortune tellers to use.
Regarding the game, this is old game right? Has it been re-released or something?
So, I got the Steam version. Am I completely stupid or is it broken because I can't seem to get anything to happen. the only options I seem to have are rest on the bench at the park or study in the library. Eventually the park does an auto thing that just skips over the park entirely.
I can't seem to find any guide which suggests that it should be obvious what to do, but I can't find anything besides chests with fragments.

Get the patch from Kagura Games' site and install it. Don't forget to start from the beginning to avoid any potential glitches

Thanks! There's nothing mentioning a patch from their site, so I would never have found that. Kinda weird that they don't just patch the game on steam though.

It's done that way so they don't have to deal with the extra strict review team, plus it would have been instabanned if they submitted the game with the patch applied.

Yeah, they are. They ban any adult game that takes place at a school, has short characters, or whatever reason they may find to think x character might be a minor. They even banned a game they approved to participate in the Steam Next Fest during the event
Well damn, that explains a few things. More reasons to just pirate those games instead.
you know what you getting into from the screenshots alone, but in case you dont think its quite obvious, you get to "pick" between a homeless man, or a old janitor man, or a middle aged salaryman, or a fat schoolmate, and all of them are fat, ugly and either balding or bald.
