Garbage game, you will see shit that you don't want to see and you have no options about it. The game is a pointless grindfest and the writing is cringe as fuck, especially some of the insults that are tossed around. The games backrounds look like early 2000's and the models are just mediocre honey select. There is no semblance of story outside of trying to make the minimum amount of effort to try to make sense of whatever convoluted plot is here. I despise games that take away control from the player and force you to see shit that you find repulsive without even specifying that it's going to happen. Overall, just a piss poor game.

House Arrest is a time-management sandbox style game in which a convicted conflict diamond salesman attempts to train his not-niece into a good enough maid to justify keeping around.

If the story sounds weird, that's because it's weak as hell. The characters are all horny psychos who don't act remotely human. They each have a role/background, but little in the way of personality besides down to fuck at any given moment. They're all after the MC because he's got a big dick. That's it.

It's a little more reasonable than it seems because it's unapologetic it is about its porny nonsense. That said, I have difficulty at times figuring out of I'm laughing at the game or with it. That's probably because the characters and contrived circumstances are frequently the joke, so it's a weird self-deprecating sort of humor?

The gameplay is abysmal, but at least doesn't get in the way long. You get to see most of the scenes in the game without grinding any stats, though the ending is gated behind getting your maid to 50 of each stat (although the bar goes to 100, don't waste your time!) and seeing all the scenes. There are choices in the scenes to determine how much the maid's stats are boosted, but love is the only one you can't grind in the sandbox. It's basically a VN hidden by a time-management sandbox.

All that negative stuff being said, I kinda like the game despite myself? It uses an understandably dated version of Honey Select and has a lot of porn. While the humor isn't high brow by any means, it can still be funny at times through absurdity. I feel like I enjoyed myself more than it deserved.

I think your appreciation for this game will directly correlate with how much you like Honey Select models/porn. If you like the porn the story, characters, and gameplay are just like the intentionally horrible acting at the beginning of silly porn scenes. If you don't like the porn, this game will probably come across as intolerable.

I really enjoyed it and it had a suprising story. The characters were interesting if not predictable. Aspect that let you really know the characters and their story I enjoyed. I'm now just typing random stuff because it says I have to have atleast 200 characters

I was going to put a 4 stars, but I just finished the game, and I'll stick with 3.

It is a "sandbox" game that for some reasons has 3 gameplay modes.
Story, cheat and sandbox.

What is the difference?

In story, you have tot train your "stepsister's set daughter, absolutely not you suster's daughter, aka your niece" to be your maid or you will kick her out.

And you have to do so before her motivation reach a too low score.

Don't worry, the game hasn't enough content to make that score go too low anyway.

You have 3 categories to train her in. or not, it's actually completely irrelevant to both the story and gameplay.

And you have to increase her love stat. How? Dunno, I got the 27 events, and it wasn't high enough, and you still get good endings when you don't pass the score check so... huh... Meh.

Cheat mode, it's the same but you give even less of a shit about the stats since they all start maxed out.

And sandbox, is a mode where you choose up to two girls and play exclusive scenes outside of the main story.

The story is nice, for once we don't have a creepy perv MC, and turns out we are not the ones doing the corruption but we are the ones being corrupted.

The renders though are plainly ugly.

And this game has something I hat above all, straightening lesbians with huge dicks, because it's a well-known fact that all lesbians need in their lives is a good old big dick for them to realise they are actually bi at worst or straight at best...

Overall, the story is ok, but the gameplay is useless, don't bother training her, just stick with the events since they are the only way to get the good ending.

Simple but refreshing. Not too serious but actually nicely written. If this would have been more seriously written with real dialogue, better male character, and higher stakes (girl not being slutty for instance) it would be 5 stars

Playtime : short to medium (8-12 hours with all the bonus scenes and without skip)

I recommend you to install the cheat mod by D.S.-sama and use it if you want to speed up the training part.

It's one of my top 10 Games at this moment and I've played hundreds.

This game is hidden gem cause:
1) Story is very fun, with nice humor, without long and boring dialogs. I finished this game totally without skipping dialogs.
2) Characters looks nice for such old Illusion graphics (I liked the char presets). And they're all totally different, and I mean not only visuals.
3) Best MC of all H-games I've ever played! (and I've seen a lot mc's)
4) Sex scenes are fun as hell, maybe graphics is not the best side of this game but author made them Hot and really not boring.
5) The game is finished. I meant also the Story is really finished, not some "I'm tired, lets finish this somehow"

The only minus for Me is that I don't like tan lines, but thats my personal.
I can totally recommend this game, it's fun and much more interesting, original and Just fun then it seems at first sight.

Game's pretty good, perfect for when you wanna turn off your brain and watch some H scenes and appreciate the wacky events of the game, like it radiates chaos and I love it.
Protagonist is 10/10 btw, half of the reason to play this.

The guy needs to fuck and he can't do it. Day passes he goes to sleep. He dreams about Alanna cause he really needs it (his words).
He calls Alanna to his room, and she sets a dating app for him, he looks at her ass that was pretty much in his face, HE ANGRILY PUSHES HER AWAY (unavoidable outcome, your choice doesnt matter here).
This is the most stupid plot convenient moment I have seen outside chinese dramas.
This happens during the early stages,is not an islolated event, he basically rejects her because.
Anoher one. She is trying to seduce him, and he rejects her (because of plot stupidity) so he thinks she doesnt want to be kicked because of a maid, and he thinks to himself: " I gotta take advantage of this situation"

A game with choices I agree, but if my choices dont change the outcome, and barely change the dialogue, its actually a illusion of choice. You have the options to choose from, but the dev didn make the work creating different scenarios and images for those chocies to matter.

This needs better writing for starters. For this reason, the game is trashy trashy.

A bit of grinding, and "okayish" girls.
The story is simple but fun.

Clearly there are enough girls to cover every type, but in the end, none really matters except the main love interest.

As for the game, there are normal mode, but also cheat mode for those who do not want to play the game itself.

Funny game, cool protag and sexy girls. Simple story (not that I care of), doesn't take itself more seriously than it needs to, it's a relax game. The characters are nice and funny, the sandbox isn't drudgery.

A bit rougher around the edges than Solvalley School but it makes up for it with a more focussed story. As always with this creator the game is funny, sexy and oddly wholesome. Definite recommendation.

I played this game some time ago, but forgot to ever review. Though it's not like you need more confirmation, this game is great.

I'll just go very quick through what you get:

* Porn game. No faffing about. Strati to fucking
* Story is cute, well written. But it's the equivalent of a very well acted "pizza guy puts his dick in the pizza box, and the milf decides 'why not, I do like cock, so yeah!'"
* It's a harem, cheating - as in you fuck some loosers wife in front of him, more or less.

It is a game that leaves you very little freedom of action, has a grinding evident and enough central to the game, but it is a fun game with a lot of animations with "verses", the characters are all crazy, but in the fun sense of the word and all quite different from each other.

A great story trapped in an okay game. The easy fix for this is to use the cheat mod. With that it becomes a five star experience. Lots of wacky sexy humor and hijinks here but also a lot of sweetness and romance. Definitely a must play for everyone

It was ok, at best. I am personally not a fan of the art style used, however it was done pretty well. The story framework was ok, but I found the dialog to be quite lacking. Much of the interactions had little reasoning and tended to go in directions that did not feel like it fit the situation, especially early on.

I was a little disappointed at first, but this game turned out to be pretty good in an inane kinda way.

The visuals are great. I really like the girls in this, and there's a decent amount of variety.

The dialog is pretty good. It can be pretty funny at times, but it's a little rough around the edges grammar wise.

There's not much of a story here, it's most a strung-together collection of events that result in sex.

This is what introduced me to this Dev. Alot of this game shows a new dev just getting his feet wet but immensely talented at delivering great content even if it sacrifices the narrative a little bit.

PROS
- The female NTR is fantastic. Very Hot scene
- The MC is for once not a 13 year old boy. Really wish more devs would do this
- The dialogue is raunchy and comedic as it should be in a porn game
- The lead girl is smoking hot
- A game that actually has a MC with weapons and he doesnt sound like an idiot half the time
- Very fast paced. This is where this dev shines in all of his games. Even though its face paced he doesnt diminish the quality of his scenes. They are all equally hot.

CONS
- OLD UI and entry level Hgame mechanics from 2017 that the dev has long since improved on other games, just not in this game. He should do a remake one day
- NO PLOT. Which for me is fine
- Very little direction and difficult to play without a walkthrough

Depending on what you're looking for, this deserves two entirely different ratings.

This is sheer pornography. The story has no heart (it's hard to identify with anyone and what is expressed as love is really pity or lust) and is never coming from anything approaching reality. But if that's what you want, this is a 5 star production. The dialog in this is always coming in an intentionally cheesy porn style... and it's great. I laughed out loud a lot in this. Once I realized that's what it was, I started laughing and just enjoying the dialog and the absurd situations. It's kind funny and refreshing that this realizes that all the girls are bimbos ready to throw twaddle at this guy... so they make him turn it down to prolong the story, rather than making us grind out a thousand massages.

And at times the dialog is spotty as if translated from another language... but it's not that bad, in fact, it occurs in such a way that it gives the impression that it's done intentionally and it almost adds the to the comedic style... as if it's a parody of bad translations. You always understand what is being said and the mistranslations just add a charm.

As a mindless and humorous porn, this is 5 stars all the way. I loved Alanna and her refreshing honesty (once she got past her early character inconsistency). Any time a secret is meant to be kept quiet, she blurts out the awkward truth of it all... it's kinda great... there is zero false drama of simply waiting for someone to finally say what everyone's been thinking. Alanna always cuts to the chase. She's a lot of crazy fun.

But early on, I was looking for something more immersive, and the constant shifting of personality from moment to moment threw me off. First the guy wants the girl, but she doesn't want him. The very next scene she wants him and he doesn't want her. This goes back and forth for a while. All of the characters are guilty of changing motive and personality at the drop of a dime to fit whatever humorous dialog needed to be said, or just to create another sexy and absurd situation.

As far as gameplay, it's repetitive... at first it seems like it's not and you breeze thru the story never realizing the entire time that you're supposed to level up stats to pass checks at the end... which explicitly requires repeating the same clicks and dialog over and over ad nauseam... I had to replay this to get to the actual end because my girl couldn't cook or clean. There is no indication that not meeting a level will lock you out nor is there any indication that any of this will be tested at some point. And frankly, it's unclear that you have to repeat this stuff.

It would give me choices to act one way and then contradict that behavior in the next scene and offer exactly opposite. In short, the behaviors of the characters are all over the map. There is no consistency here. The attitude stays the same, generally... but the behavior is completely random. This provides a lot of humorous situations but lacks any immersion... it's like watching a sexy sketch show where every scene is brand new and the only consistent thing in the entire production is the theme of sex.

And the sex in this is hot. There is zero sexual dialog during the scenes and it relies on animated clips strung together to provide a short sex scene without clicking. It's like a little movie... it's Honey Select hot and technically well done... but it's entirely soulless. It's exactly like watching a porn. Heck, you might even think it's a good porn. It often is. But why not just watch porn? Didn't you come here for something more?

I did.

This is very entertaining, funny, and hot... but not immersive at all and pointless in this medium. The dialog and inner emotional thoughts during sex is really everything to this genre of games... I know why they went this route, proving the easier fap... but the emotional and erotic dialog of the sexual situations is sorely missing here. If you want mindless imagery and random hot but absurd situations, you'll dig this... it's a solid recommend. It's very good porn.

But if you came to this medium for 'more'... this is not for you. I got off... but then I just felt empty... just like having watched porn. I did enjoy this... a lot even... but not in any way like I had hoped to.

2 stars as an immersive visual novel... 5 as an entertaining and fun porn (if you ignore the grind and don't require the perfect ending).

It's worth noting that this does serve the rare pirate fetish... as every girl spends half the time with one eye in a state of wink... it's sure to shiver your timbers.
