I got invite for Alice and Yvette special appointments on same day, same time. Could only do one and now I can't unlock all of Alice's scenes. Is there a way to force events to happen? I also can't get Yvette's reception event to trigger even with you now being able to assign her to the desk in the evenings. Maybe there should be some type of 'favorite girl' selection that helps her show up more often and lets her events trigger more often.

Also, will the other girl attributes be added to their phone descriptions in the lower left hand corner? At least the love and lust stats.

You can only do one appointment at a time, so sometimes it is okay to turn down a request from a girl. How do you know you can't unlock all of Alice's scenes? Perhaps you need to continue in the game to raise your stats as well as hers. Maybe she needs a change of wardrobe. Yvette's night reception has been discussed ad nauseum as have all other events, appointments, scenes for each girl. Search the thread.

Lastly, all stats for each girl are on your phone. Try the upper left app. If there are blanks, you haven't talked to the girls and asked the right questions.

You know on games whose content is changed every update because the game is not finished, whenever someone asks is there a walkthrough rather then you know read the thread or use the search function this little scene below pops up when i visualize that individual.

Maybe they could contact the developer and offer to fly him to their Mom's basement and pay him $10,000 per hour to hold their hand and tell them what to do.

If you get the following error on Linux:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xe9 in position 3: invalid continuation byte​

You can work around this by editing the renpy/loader.py file. On line 180 add the following:

    for i in os.listdir(dir):
        i = i.decode('latin-1') # You need to decode using latin-1 here instead of the implied utf-8

Also, I cant find the 8.0.0 alpha download link and the current bugfix 2 link only has 5 images in it.

You shouldn't need the 0.08 Alpha version. Per the developer's Patreon page,
Holiday Island 0.0.8 content addon 2 (including bug fixes) has been released. It has everything. But if you still think you need, just explore his page a little and I'm sure you can find all the links to the Alpha version, each Bugfix and each Addon package. I would suggest starting here.

From your post before the one quoted, the last line says Holiday Island 0.0.8alpha bf2. That seems to indicate you are not running the latest Addon 2. Try downloading it and following the instructions to install it. You may find your errors are resolved.

After discovering this game last week, I decided to give it a shot. I will admit that since I am not really into girls with gigantic breasts, I was not optimistic when I started playing. Well... a week and many, many hours later, I can gladly say that I love this game. I think it actually turned me into more of a boob guy than I was before.

Here are a few of my thoughts.

1. Grindy, but in a "good way"... mostly.

Players who dislike grind in general won't want to play this game without mods (or using console cheats), but for those who enjoy (or at least don't hate) a little grind, I found the game to be nicely balanced and enjoyable. Building affection, love, and lust with the girls felt very organic and engaging. Overall, I always felt like I was building towards something. There is one aspect of the grind, however, that I did not enjoy at all - building the MC's stats. I found the player stat-building process to be too slow and lacking in transparency. You don't get any real indication of how much progress you are making between stat bumps, and it wasn't really clear to me what the "looks" stat is used for. I do understand that stat-gating is important for making the game feel like.. well... a game, and I wouldn't ever want to console cheat myself to max stats at the start of the game, but the progression as is just feels too slow.

2. Good models and sex scenes.

As I said, I wasn't really a "tit guy" when I started playing this, and I'm still not now, but I liked the game anyway. The models were sexy, and some of the sex scenes were really hot, though truthfully I would like to see some more variety in the sex. The lack of anal content seems particularly odd to me. I mean, there's a Butt Contest on the island!

3. The game needs some kind of indicator that you have interacted with a girl already on a given day. This could be something as simple as a little red/green box on the smart watch display. With nine girls on the island, I found it hard remember at times who I had and had not interacted with (to avoid affecton/love decay).

Overall though, I thought the game was great.

I don't know that any of the girls are "finished" at this stage of game development (I hope not), but here are the girls organized by content.

Tier 1: Amy, Alice, & Yvette
Tier 2: Faye, Jessica, & Ivy
Tier 3: Aly & Heather

As for the rest of the girls...

Desire doesn't have much content, but she does have a sex scene.
Brenda & Eva have a couple of scenes but no sex content.

Elizia, Lacey, & Renee have basically nothing outside of their arrival scenes and poker games.

Also. I have seen a few people in this thread talking about problems with "missing" content because multiple dates get scheduled at the same time (usually an Amy dinner conflicting with Yvette's or Alice's "reward" appointments). As far as I can tell, it is currently impossible to lock yourself out of content at this stage of the game build. The "reward" appointments for Alice & Yvette's strength training are also unlocked by voting them the winner of the weekly Butt Contest. So, if you do miss a reward session with one of the girls, just wait until next week's Butt Contest.
