Depraved Awakening is another very good example of neo-noir novel with lots and lots of sexual content, it definitely doesn't leave you blue-balled xDAgreed. It's neo-noir at its finest with... porn!

I was just checking back in after waiting a while to see if this has been moved out of abandoned status... it's a shame that it is still there... do we have any news or word from the dev? I know things were rough for a time but it seemed like they pulled through, hope everything's okay and they're just busy with normal life stuff

I wish we knew, would be nice to know how the dev is doing and if he's still working on the project, V3X had/has some mad potential and skill and this game really has the potential to be one of the top games out there, especially in its own genre, and it kind of is already, even in its current version.
But yeah, would be great if V3X would return to work on the project, but sadly there's no way to know whether he is not, he shut down his Patreon and everything.

It's not abandoned, he's working on it in his spare time but he has a full time job and family time to fit in. This will be updated as and when he can but it won't be regular and could be several months to a year between updates, it all depends how busy he is.
He isn't taking any money for this as he can't promise a regular release schedule that's why it's down as abandoned.

You sure he hasn't abandoned it? I mean, I hope you're right, I really do, but how can you be sure? He doesn't have Patreon anymore or other sites as far as I know where he'd be even letting people know what he's up to.
Yeah, this has always been just a hobby of his, a hobby he actually is/was passionate about, but at this point it has been a very long time since the last update or any development news, or any news really.
It's been over 6 months, yes. But the previous time, when he had stated he can't continue, he came back less than a year later with this game and the prequel (which frankly should have been part of this game...)
As I have stated, I think he will show up with either a huge update or a finished game (and I expect he may rework some things). He doesn't expect to make money for this, so he may just get it out in huge bunches so we see all the story instead of a slow trek of episodes.
He discontinued his patreon page, not his patreon account BTW.

I definitely agree. This is a great story so far with great visuals so I also hope it just takes time. Especially given how long those episodes are.
I really hope V3X returns again. Last time his hiatus was 9-10 months IIRC.

On the contrary, the story even in its current abandoned state is far better than so many others out there, and it really is a very good one.

Well, it did grab me. I prefer this slightly from Ethan's Legacy. I hope he returns to this and not to EL.
