You mean like with the 2 clone sisters where we type in truestory in the computer? I think you will probably need to hide it even more than that. If they are really stubborn they will just email patreon "Hey the underage girl is still in the game all you have to do is type some words in the game". Patreon is not big on second chances. You will need to make some sort of patch, even a simple one that just unlocks your game that does not come with the game, that's the main issue. It just can't come packaged with the game when you release it on patreon but outside it in which case it's technically out of your hands and you are not responsible for it.

Well i don't think we are dealing with the greatest of geniuses here, they are reselling porn game, they are looking for easy money. They feel attacked so they will lash out in revenge anyway they can. Runeys game is already removed from their site unless i am mistaken so they have nothing to lose at this point. However it is an incredibly stupid thing from them to do still because if they raise up too much of a stink. Other developers and fans are gonna take notice and their whole entire site might get shut down and if it gets real serious they might even look at a lawsuit.
So again they are being very reactive right now, rather than thinking things clearly, they are wounded and they are lashing out.

That's the real problem and I thought about this myself when I started developing myself.
@Runey to make things easier for when shit gets real I made a simple version check in the game I'm working on. When I compile the game I change the version variable depending on where I want to upload it and everthing I don't want to be seen wont be shown just by that. The only possible way to see the "truestory" would be to decompile and change that variable.
I guess it's relatively similiar to your truestory method, just a bit safer
Im having issues with installing on android. I download the apk and run as normal but each time it says app not installed and closes the installer. Could this be because of an older version?

I have seen that before but actually never posted about it so here goes:
If the keyboard doesn't work its because the game uses an old renpy version. All renpy versions from 7.1+ should support every keybord app on android (please update if that's the case @Runey).
Android has an automatic update process for apk's with the same... (sorry I forgot the name here, but it's the number renpy generates when you compile an android build if I remember correctly). I've had several other renpy games updated like this on my phone.
@Runey I just realized a bug in my saves. You might recall that I ran into an issue with Ashley's stats and couldn't move forward because I got locked out from one of her scenes. I went back and started replaying from the scene where Ashley loses her v-card with the MC. Going forward from there, I got past the point where Maria moves in, but now noticed that her info entry was not unlocked.
I don't think it's actually preventing stuff from happening as she is able to gain stats, but obviously not being able to keep track of it is a hindrance.

God that's a dreadful turn of events. I certainly hope you're able to get it sorted out. Could you even carry on if Patreon kicked you off? Have you looked for other crowdfunding sites?

I don't believe I'll be able to sustain myself if not for Patreon. Patreon is just huge. (And very slow at replying apparently)

They've done nothing but tell me to fix my shit. I'm not exactly sure what they mean, being the gods of vagueness they are. So I took down all traces of Ashley from my page, and took down the public download.
I use Honey Select for all my assets (such as their character builder). I've talked to Fakku (who owns the Western rights for Honey Select) and they've told me as long as I'm not selling anything, I'm perfectly fine.
