But genetics is less depressing.
But look at her mom! ...or should we be blaming her dad for that? She's half dwarf? Does she have to shave every morning too? Or maybe she is a quarterling (half halfling), but then she would need to shave her feet. :p
She is shorter than most elves and we have seen her ears, so she can't be half-elf (unlike someone else).

You expected a porn game to be happy? pfft.
I don't even play Harem Hotel for the porn. Playing Harem Hotel takes commitment. Any avid HH fans will know that. What I mean by 'commitment' is that you can't just play Harem Hotel for the sex. With normal porn, you can just find a good video, skip around as much as you like to see the action, and once you're done, you can just close the video. But with Harem Hotel? No. With Harem Hotel, each time you start a new character's story, not only will there be at least a few minutes of introduction, where the characters just explain themselves and whatnot. Now, granted, this happens in some normal porn too, but you can just skip past it and get right to the good stuff. With HH, the plot and characters are equally as important as the action. Furthermore, not only do you have to commit to paying attention to what's happening in the story for characters, but you also have to hold out long enough to finish the whole game. Usually, porn games aren't a single playthrough, they're multiple playthroughs with anywhere from 2 to dozens of updates with new content, although the majority of porn games only have a few updates and not very often (from my experience). This means that every time you go to play Harem Hotel, you better have at least 45 minutes of spare time, since a single event can be over 20 minutes long, and you also have to pay attention to the plot, characters, action and writing all at once. It truly takes one hell of a commitment to really play Harem Hotel.

Both growth problems and probable mental health issues strike a bit too much home here.
Yeah, she is me, if I had decided to buy a bottle of bleach and take all my problems out of others instead of internalizing them like a proper mental illness, where they can fester into ulcers and other problems! :p

I've used unren 7.0 on 0.5.3 with your mod installed and had no errors so i think you're fine.
Again, I have just done that. I ran unren, got access to rpy files, edited one, launched the game and it all works.
Files have been decompiled successfully.
XD Honestly though what version of UnRen and HH are you using and on what platform? I'm not saying you're wrong I'd just like to make sure I haven't accidentally screwed anything up without knowing it. I've used UnRen 7.0 on the latest version of HH on windows and got no errors when decompiling and no errors when renpy recompiles the game, so I'm confused about what errors and uncompilable code you're talking about. Can you specifically show the error/code?
Since multiple people said it worked I tried it on my second PC and it decompiles and recompiles fine. On my main PC, UnRen was generating an 'errors.txt' file with a bunch of unresolved code lines. It seems to work normally on my second PC so the issue appears to be local to my main PC. Thank you! I am wrong in this instance. Thank you for trying it out and making me troubleshoot it further. When I am wrong I admit it. Sorry for the confusion.

I'll take a very wild guess, it could be some python environment variables shenanigans, if you have python installed on that PC. Maybe for some reason the paths set by unren don't work and the system ends up using your global python installation which might be not suitable for unrpyc. Could be some Python 2.7 vs Python 3.x issue.
It's a shot in the dark, since on this PC I think I have Python 2.7 installed and have no problems, but it could be it.

Are you using UnRen 0.7 on both? Are you decompiling straight from the UnRen menu, or running the game with un.rpyc installed to do the decompiling?

Yeah, I was thinking python environment variables. Is PYTHONPATH defined?

The sad thing is that it took me 18 hours to manually decompile all the failed lines of code when the problem was my PC the whole time. I'm glad the community insisted I was wrong and made me investigate further. Those lost 18 hours resulted in good brain exercise though lol. As long as UnRen doesn't generate an 'errors.txt' file it appears to be 100% successful. I have multiple versions of Python installed and one of them was probably causing the issue. I'm uninstalling all versions of Python and just installing the two versions I need.

I tried it both ways on my main PC (main menu of unren.bat and just using un.rpyc in the game folder). I only tried it through the main menu (unren.bat) on my second PC.

I'll make sure PYTHONPATH is defined correctly after I finish the python reinstalls. Thanks!
