Unity Hail Dicktator [v0.67.0] [Hachigames]

Have a new PC now so all saves are gone ... how can I get to the latest point now ?
I put the old saves at:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\HachiGames\HailDicktator\save
but when I start the game and "load" there is nothing .. only a total blank grey field .. looks like a bug ..

Just to be sure - you did use your actual username instead of <username>, right? I.e. if you open an explorer window (Win key+E) and paste in the path "%AppData%\..\LocalLow\HachiGames\HailDicktator\save" - you end up in the folder with your saves? (Sorry if this question seems trivial, but sometimes simple solutions might get overlooked )

start game, start new game, save, close game, copy old saves to that folder, restart game, load newold save, play.
