Identify {FOUND: Minami Hamazaki Dating Simulation (2004)} Flash game / dating sim from 15/20+ years ago

Hello everyone,

I feel like this was a popular game but I might be wrong.

It used to be hosted on some popular french website with free flash games (pretty sure it was zebest-3000), including erotic / porn.

I think that the game had the name of the main girl / character that you as the player had to date. Something japanese/anime sounding.

I can't remember how the game / the girl was called.

I feel like it was all text / point and click, but I could be wrong. Art was 2dcg, possibly some pixel art in places. Very japanese / manga inspired.

Any clues ?

Crazy that I never knew of all this although I spent many hours on the game as a teenager haha.

Pretty interesting to see how the author wraps the article mentioning Motion Twin, known for flash games... and Dead Cells.

Fascinating. Never heard of this game but seems interesting. I remember playing some games similar to this one years and years ago(I guess they were clones of this?) but never this one in particular.

. It's used for running flash games these days and they have a huge collection of flash games and most of the popular or semi-popular games were archived, including hentai games. The whole collection is almost 2 terabytes so it's understandable if don't want to download the entire thing lol.

I wonder if that's on purpose.

I've never played it, but Minami is a pretty common Japanese name.

Nobody knows where to find a playable version of this?... wish actually someone would -remake it, was actually quite good I remember back in the old Flash dating games, etc during that time it was better than most stuff that simply was out there to play...

Hello there, sorry for my English it's not very good since it's not my native language.

I'm a French dev and i was obsessed for 2/3 years with finding this game complete version again (i played it a lot when i was a teenager 20 years ago and had very good memories and nostalgia from it)

The version on "zebest-3000 .com" is an old version of the swf from 2002 (last build was 2009 but it was really minor fixes, last real version is from 2004) with lot of important assets and mechanics broken because they are missing (they are not in the swf files, there were stored on the original server) and because of the ruffle conversion.

you cannot just take the swf and play it with ruffle, the game need some external files stored in the server to be completed (and also most of the sound are externals too, that's why is so tricky to find a full version) zebest-3000 was able to have this old version somehow working because back then they had a
partnership with tanuki studio and they have some (not all) of the external assets.

The full last version of the game was considered dead and impossible to recover but i was able to find and contact the original developer and retrieve from him the original fla files of the last build (he was surprised that ppl still care about the game lol and didn't care or remember a lot from these times, i was very lucky because the files were only in his very old and forgotten laptop, the files would have been gone completely from the world when he would have eventually
throw away the laptop)

I rebuilt the swf, fixing a lot stuff/bugs for modern browser (ruffle) and specially mobile devices.

It's hard to work on these very old games, i don't know if i have the motivation to do a version in English. Maybe if some ppl really are interested.

For the others, i have the full version fixed and playable in french. Can i post the url here ? Since i just made my account.

Even by today standards, the game still hold his ground. It's outdated of course but still very fun to complete and explore all the possibilities. And of course nothing can replace this nostalgia feeling when you were playing the same game 20 years ago ^^
