Is the Multiplayer Game still supported and Developing?
I remember tried it when I first knew FS many years ago, and it was pretty dead.

Not to mention, "role play porn online with strangers" is a totally different fetish from any single player porn game

BTW, Saw how good Godot is after the Unity fiasco, Am really looking forward to the Godot port of FS
i need to actually take the godot port seriously i have been coding/working on the inform port for a long time.

I have been searching around for an answer to this but just can not find one, so I'll shoot the question here:
Can you actually still get Alpha Fang without the need of Sandra? It just does not matter how many days I spend away from the dude, nothing ever happens when I return, whether I've had sex with him zero times or more than five. The wiki says you need to have had sex with him less than five times and then stay away for three days, then return to get jumped, but it is just not happening for me.

It is still possible, but it only triggers (possibly by chance) when you go up from the bunker.

Yeah, I just got it. Went in on just scanning the github page for him and tried just walking around and it happened, so you're absolutely right. I'm guessing you're the same Prometheus working on the game, including Fang? Thanks for the great content if so!

Updates

Carl:
Continuing with the gritty reboot of the soldier squad, Carl's intro into the library has been reworked, with more content between him and yourself instead of just dropping off the npc straight away. If you already have Carl in your import, you can talk to him to replay the arrival in the library and the choice to be made there. [Wahn]
Colleen: Colleen can now be kept as human when you stay with her to treat her wounds as part of the "Strike From the Deep" event as long as there is enough anti-nanite spray left. (No sexual content yet.) [Prometheus]
Colleen: Sane Husky Colleen may now be interested in a little harmless sexual fun. All you have to do is ask. [Prometheus]
Leon: Expanded and reworked. A vast slew of typos have been fixed, and 5 and a half new scenes have been added, including a new and improved bad end!
Stallionboi: The girly horse lads have new oral and CV loss scenes. [Fuxi]
Tehuantl: The sexy jaguarwoman has gotten some nice new artwork to show off. [Wahn]

Soooo... dumb question.
Can someone run by me what's the deal with this game's install ?
Never had a game come as a .msi before, nor have I ever played one needing an "interpreter", and I'll admit I'm a bit warry about installing random shit I don't understand on my computer. I'm intrigued by the game but I'd rather like to understand before telling Windows to calm down on blocking the thing.

The MSI helps with quickly setting up the game AND an interpreter. Grab the game on its own and an interpreter by your choice if you like otherwise.
The game needs an interpreter because the game itself is a big blob of compiled script code and assets not capable of running on its own. It's like a big compressed text file. So how would you 'open' a text file to let it dynamically tell you a story?

I... see... I guess ?
Is there a benefit to doing it that way instead of making it via some engine or other that pumps out a fairly simple executable ?

Once upon a time, it's what was available for text games. Do take into account that this game is ancient and has grown beyond any reasonable expectations, by todays standards it's clunky and archaic. Good news, they are trying to port the game to a more modern engine, bad news, it gets more complicated with each subsequent update.

Ho, I didn't realize it was that old of a game. Thank for letting me know.

It's still very well worth playing today imho. If you're into text based games, then it's a no-brainer of a decision.

I use windows git as the interpreter which I don't remember if it came with the .msi installer or not, but it works great and getting the hang of the game and it's basic mechanics is... different, but not bad tbh, it's just a matter of understanding that while the game is waiting for you to type down what you want to do, the game has an hyperlinks system that makes it so that 98% of the time it can be played just by clicking the hyperlinks for what you want to happen, and the rest are niche moments where you do have to type down something more specific.

The game also has graphics in the form of art for some areas and a great amount of NPC's. I personally pick these options for an great experience without the art taking too much space.

It's very worth playing! I love how much content there is and how you can get the library to become a safehaven for various NPCs you will find on your quest.

If the time mechanic is getting to you, you can cheat talking to an NPC called trixie at the beginning above where you start and click on the options she gives you to cheat and one of them is making the time until rescue arrives just be infinite.

the issue with this game is the exploration, without a guide its near impossible to find or understand what to do in order to seek out the content I like theres so many random events, that lead to other random events, that lead to areas for more random events
unlocking certain things would be impossible without the wiki, the issue is its so outdated

meet x lose to x 5 times go to area explore area xx times meet x win 1 time lose 3 times win 6 times explore xxx to unlock xxxx then drink water x times and then eat a cheese burger and then become a vegan and tada you unlock a new character
