I find it a little strange that some play a porn game and are struggling with a female MC. What does that say?
Perhaps not everyone is a pervert?
But at the same time playing as a male MC and everything is ok. Or not?
Strange things are happening.

Could be said it proves how narrow minded those players are or how badly that game might be built as a whole (as everything depends on circumstance).

a person whose sexual behaviour you consider to be strange and not acceptable synonym deviant. a sexual pervert.
So yeah we can like porn and not be a pervert by some, also shows how many actually wrongfully use words by ignorance, just to fool around or with ill intent.

Playing as a male MC doesn't make everything alright, ...but looking for moral ground in fictional depictions of what has been seen as whole immoral and savage by default for centuries in several nations and societal norms... is thin ice... and well what is right and wrong by nature and what is right and wrong from each society/culture.

How many games ...actually portray females/males being abused and raped... still by it's fandom it's received with little to no critic while accepting that it's fine as long as it's fictional ...these are reasons why tags are important since not all can accept these kinks.

(I can give myself as an example drugs, rape, bdsm, gore/guro, vore and certain types of corruption and blackmail for me it's not acceptable, is there a context where i can accept these, there is, but is it something that will madly depend on the plot and in all forms speak contrary to my values).

dev must make the point like:
-this game has female protagonist for male
-this game has female protagonist for female-gay-etc

even if you make female protagonist for male game, your female -render wise- must waaay hot for convincing us to play it.(idk way) for example in Fashion Business FP hot as hell you cant refuse her easly and all her renders eye candy for straight males. even when you see her in sex actions, First person camera aiming her face, not the dicks(like you sucking it) or camera changes to male eyes who sex with her so you can see her in POV camera or you see only wide angles. This shows clearly developer already decided that this game aiming for male players, and i like this type of FP games.

I tend to agree with this. Though to me, the female can also looks more average. It does not need to be hot in the sense of tits or plastic.
If i play a female MC, of course i want to see the action either from a sideview or from the male perspective.
And yes, i would appreciate if devs would make clear what the intent is. Since i do not play a lesbian path, it would be helpful.

Well, tags are important. Though i have to say that tags are not very telling about what goes on in the game. bdsm may be in it, but only very short. So it has Bdsm but nothing really if you are a fan of it.
So its for incest. There were games that had that but then there wasn't any action. It is also due, that games are unfinished and maybe, somewhere down the line it will include these tags.
Personally it would be better to include these tags as future items.

White Knighting is a criticism levied on men who come to the defense of women when they're wrong.
They enable poor behavior in a misguided attempt to have a chance with them; and it turns out that they're beta orbiters and cucks that end up being used.
Nobody's going to effectively mock a man who saves a woman who is innocent or right.

Men envision their ideal woman and imagine suffering to save her.
And that 'says something' to her.
It's a dream that facilitates growth.
One suffers to grow stronger, like with exercise.

Criticizing men's urge to 'save the princess' is like criticizing women's urge to 'tame the beast'.
It's not smart if you consider how men and women complement each-other sociologically and genetically.
Women are attracted to effective men.
The exception isn't the rule.

I think some men should have themselves checked. We are talking about a game and novella that has a script.
I can emphasize with the notion that this female looks like a women i would love but that is as far as i would go. The prince does not come to the women in the real world and moreover, some of these prince's may even kill the women they adore because she rejects them.
I would like to say to these men: "psst....wake up"

'Saving the princess' and 'taming the beast' are fine.
The problems associated with them are problems.
Do not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

You know full well that women keep trying to tame the bad boy beast just to get fucked around by him.
No more idealistic vampire stories for women I guess.
Because fuck them, right?

Of my experience, you may break during the process.

Yeah I know.
Women need to be careful as well.

But men are viewed as a threat.
Thus, emasculation and demoralization is a part of the agenda.
And a world filled with weak men.

As a bisexual female I wish there were far, far more of them. Sometimes you just gotta settle for the weird mind-body disconnect of playing as a dude. It's especially weird when it's POV.

Hmm... tags for all intents and purposes are there to just categorize the content available, sadly i have also played "complete" games that were tagged with certain content that can go unnoticed due to the lack of that content there is, to the point of the only mentioned of said content is one single line of text.

It's been known selecting games by depending on tags as always been a way to miss some time worthy games, so instead of a tag search i rather try as best as i can to select the ones that show to me effort with it's art and have a solid premise regardless of their tags, normally by checking those two boxes is enough to make me go for a spin.

So though i take note on what tags are visible in the game it isn't the actual criteria of selection i use.

The reason why i like playing with female MC is obvious: it's the variety. More than 90% of all games have male MCs. Moreover, they are almost always badly written and designed only for "meat". Games with female MCs often offer different perspectives. They often have more sexual diversity. And sometimes they are also better written storywise. Of course there is also a lot of 0815 and also rubbish. But sometimes a jem.

For me the story is half the fun. And especially in the vanilla/harem games it's often just about getting into Li's panties as quickly as possible. There often are no relationships, no story development, nothing. I'm always looking for games that have more to offer than that. I've become more demanding over the years.

Last, but not least:
I'm married and my wife doesn't like lesbians, she wants to see other men. And that's difficult in games with male MC because there's still the NTR hysteria there. A lot of games have broken because of this. And in games with female MCs, this argument is less common.

For me, I put bisexual. I love women. Probably so much I want to be in their shoes, so to speak, as I am playing them. I want to be the female herself in the female protag game experiencing what she is experiencing. For pretty much every scenario (light bondage, fondling, groping, sometimes rape scenarios etc)...as a kid I actually wanted to be Yvonne Craig's Batgirl when she was tied up and captured a lot.

Sometimes I do imagine a effeminate guy seducing me as a guy, but those fantasies are pretty much always with a faceless guy. Or on the rare occasion I do find one that I might let into my pants if he wanted to dom me. But usually it's wanting to be the female in the female story.

I tried to play a female protag game many times, ended up dropping them because they are almost always designed to throw the main female character in helpless submissive scenarios. The only times I played a female character was when I played Lilith's Throne where I got to play a female character who was dominant and got to dominate male npcs.

But the female protag is mostly for straight male players because it is designed with the idea of these players to act like a invisible entity that takes away the female character's control and forces her in those scenarios (even those that came out and admit it reveals the point of most of those games). While lesbian players get to enjoy romancing other female npcs with more female centric female protag games and such.

So yeah, I'm a outlier since there aren't really any player controlled female MC games where she gets to be assertive and get to do the humiliation/degradation/etc. on male npcs (and haven't been abandoned).

Depravity of a Lewd Vampire is complete and has a pretty assertive female vampire MC. Though admittedly she's more of a dominant submissive who happily lets a ton of dirty things happen to her when "charming" her enemies before literally sucking them dry, up to and including rimming them and letting them piss on her (both of which are mostly skippable and optional).

So for the most part she fights to *be* humiliated and degraded, instead of doing the degrading herself. I like it because not a single sex scene is a game over unlike a lot of female MC RPGMaker games, it's a goal and reward for defeating your enemies. She very clearly wants and enjoys all the times she's getting fucked, with her enemies often begging her to stop by the end of it, but she won't let them leave her snatch.

The MC in Blood Biter Beatdown is pretty assertive though not an actual domme. Bit of a creepy idiot at times too, but it fits the trashy grindhouse style of the game and it's honestly done a lot better than almost all other games with idiotic creep MCs.

I think there are only two submissive scenes, they're labeled as game overs.

Neither of them are my cup of tea, but thanks for the suggestions :) .

It's not that I like female protagonists, but male protagonists are often in bad (including VN's) games.
