Gave it a whirl. Took like 5 or 6 minutes to get through the intro.
The text is... a little painful.
Not sure if it's just me, or if it is happening to everyone, but while playing all of the text was being generated one letter at a time on multiple lines, simultaneously, while also coming in from the far left of the text box and slowly moving towards the center of it.
As far as I can tell this is the only animation in the game so far.
Caused me an uncomfortable amount of eye strain.
The art seems to use a lot of easily accessible stock photos of decent quality.
The Actors and Actresses seem to be of similar stock photo quality as well.
One thing I could not UNsee though was the complete lack of change in faces and facial expression.
It's like they took a single headshot for each of the characters, and just copy-pasted that one solitary image over several other photos of people with similar builds to try and give the impression it was the same person at a different state of rest or interaction.
But by using the same exact photo of the characters faces for every pose, it kind of breaks the immersion.
Left me wondering more about why they could just get a few more expressions and angles from their characters than I was wondering about what was going on with the plot.
As for the plot: Simple, a little generic, but pretty solid so far. An okay start.
MC is a loser with a dead end low wage job.
Wife is an ice queen blaming all the problems on the hubby MC, locking him out of the bedroom, and looks for any reason she can to denigrate him further.
Daughters seem okay, there's a hint that he his a bit suspicious of the older daughter's activities, but he seems to trust her.
Younger daughter seems like the happy go-lucky carefree type mixed with a little bit of the naive kind of daddy's girl.
As soon as they get introduced it looks like they are on "his" (MC's) side, but the moment dinner starts you find out that they side with the Mom on everything, so it's kind of an abrupt 180.
Boss is just a stereotypical dick. Hates MC just because, and MC hates boss just because as well.
No real reason or history given. They just strongly dislike each other, and the boss is using the recent failure of an entire team at work as an excuse to pin all the blame on MC and threaten his job with possible termination.
Also, boss apparently thinks he's so that cool he even wears his shades inside.
The kind with Venetian Blinds instead of lenses. lol
Anywho.
It's an okay-ish, if somewhat generic, start.
Text animation needs to be fixed though.
Either have it fly on to screen from the left and then center itself, or have it print out one letter at a time.
But please don't do both. That hurts to read.
Also those stock photo people, find some more facial expression or head shots.
Nobody walks through life smirking 24/7 when their entire existence is a hellish nightmare of failure and mediocrity.

Please understand, my comment was not meant as a complaint.
Merely a critique of what content is currently available with what the dev has already stated is just a pre-alpha release.
Yeah, I can imagine it must be difficult.Yeap, its one of the biggest problem with "real" content. Its very difficult to find good quality photos with right angle and desired emotion, especially when its not stock images with people, but a real pornstars. Wish I could find those on image stock websites
Didn't realize those were actual porn stars though.
Hope you have an easier time getting your hands on some good headshots for future releases.

It'd be nice to adjust the size of the window, so that it actually fits in the monitor. But what annoys me, would be the text, which takes its time to center itself.

If anyone ever wants to run their english translations through someone who speaks and writes it as their natural language, I'd be more than happy to offer my services at fixing the text. Interested in learning how to make the Ren'pry games, and perhaps letting out some of my creativity. Just need the graphics aspect.

A better option would be for the text to appear instantly, just like in most visual novels. A nice feature would be to have the choice to choose between both features (for the text to appear with an adjustable speed, or to simply appear instantly)
Sounds promising and I am looking forward to future updates to see where the story goes. The potential of inter-family relations is a good start.

Guys this developer is the Dev of Mothers Best Friend, which as far as qsp games go is pretty good and he does regular updates, he has said this isn't really even a demo at this stage so just wait, We've also had a pretty good relationship with him as far as his games go and being put on here.
