Yeah, he sure experimented a whole lot with characters. I very much liked the very first version. Wasn't a fan for changing her to a twin, and this last version is okay imo, but inferior to first. Both in face and haircut (for me it's just weird). I'd say face can be considered more of a "cute" type now, first one was more "milfy" and hot.

Press "Esc" to see "load". I learned to do that in this dev's games from Deviant Desires i think.
And rollback is working for me.
I sorta agree with spelling, but it's not nearly as terrible or annoying as you and some others claim, and i have some pretty big experience in dealing with this.
But those "time passed" and "x gained" is kinda annoying, yeah. I also think they just shouldn't be clickable.

Overall i think the renders are better than in previous games (at least a little), and this demo is a bit longer than when original started.
Content pretty much the same. Models are a bit different, and i'm not sure if i like the aunt just yet. She's milfy enough and beautiful, but still. I kinda used to her being pretty much mom's twin. I compare it to games by people who can actually write and speak in English and not some poor sob who translates his Russian script using google-translate.

And for that constantly spelling the same word wrong in DIFFERENT ways and not getting that it's "I am/was" and "you are/were" and "he/she/it is/was" continuously will simply get on my nerves. I honestly expect better from pingpanda.
So sorry if despite your opinion I'll still continue to have my own about it.

Overall my criticism stands, It's just a bad choice for menu settings and functions. It's done in a way that actually makes it harder not easier to play and that is something no dev should do.

I concentrated my post on the criticism, because I actually think those are fairly easy to fix and would improve the gaming experience a lot.
Otherwise this is basically the old game which I liked well enough, with some better writing and better renders.
There's nothing to criticize about that.

I compare it with non-english devs from Patreon (no, not "russian sobs using google" you're talking about, just devs around the world who can write in english), which this one obviously is and it's only fair. From my experience, his text is still superior to at least 70% of things i usually read here. There is many games that have much more various mistakes. He obviously needs proof-reader. I'm just saying that even if some mistakes were kinda annoying, it's still readable for me, and my reaction is miles away from yours. You expected better from pingpanda, I didn't expect anything, because i remember exact the same mistakes from his other games. Maybe less, but yeah. If i compared this to my favourite games like you did, most of them either written by native english-speakers, or always being proof-read before release. So, pointless.
Also, last part of my post wasn't directed to you. But yeah, "load" button should return for sure and most of your criticism is legit.

You're talking about AAA games, most of patreon games is indeed being remastered after only few versions, if dev is perfectionist which i believe this one pretty much is.

You're right, the game is something I'm very focused on hence the original remake, I wanted to get it right and felt at the time a change of concept for the game was the right move of which I still agree, however DD can no longer be classed as a remake of FM because the story and characters have changed so much.

However I do want to listen to my patreons, so due to considering their views and my own, I believe remaking the first game in the best way I can is a much better place to then start the franchise.

Which is why there will be no more remakes of any kind, this is it, so buckle in!

I think part of the big issue, is more that there is already a game out there by someone else called Family Matters. Now I believe that his came out after your first attempt was listed as abandoned and you sort of remade it into Deviant Desires. I understand that DD has taken on a live of its own per say and you are continuing it. I think that bring this back with this exact name is a mistake. I actually think that the other FM game out there should have never called it FM, but they did and are 5 eps into it and fairly popular. It is due to this that if I was you I would lean towards changing the name of this one. Hell maybe just change it to F.M.R might be sufficient to stop making people think that it is connected to the other one.

Not saying you need to at all, as it is just a suggestion, but I know I would if I was you. I would also ask the OP, wep, to add a description (whether you change title or not) explaining that this is a remake of your first FM game and that DD will continue on as its own game.

Hope you at least consider some of this and I wish you good luck in the further creation of your games.

I'm not saying that Perv2k16's game does not make sense having that title. And like I said this was abandoned before he took the name, but I think that if I was doing a game I would not have named it the same as an existing albeit abandoned game. That said, he did use it and considering that the current Family Matters by Perv2k16 is 5 eps in, it is this one by PingPanda that I think should just have been named differently. As for FMR, it was my attempt at a solution that takes very little effort. Yes I do think it would be better with some other name, Family Fun?, Family Freaks?, hell maybe Matters of the Family.

For some reason after the sis comes to the room asking for a loan and after which you go to the kitchen, the game doesn't progress anywhere, all I get is this screen below and there's absolutely nothing more I can do, apparently, unless that's all there is currently O_O



Well, personally I do like their new models, though I liked the older ones too, but no complaints from me!

EDIT: Nevermind, there was a tiny arrow at the right hand bottom corner to click, haha, man that was hard to spot. Okay, time to carry on playing!

@PingPanda i have found 2-3 mistakes.The first and the last are mistakes but I'm not sure with the 2nd picture.I have changed this mistakes in a seperate file for me.The second picture i have changed from: "{i}( Oh my god...it's {b}[mname]{/b}... ){/i}" to "{i}( Oh my god...it's {b}[mrole]{/b}... ){/i}.But I don't know if it was your intention.

The save menu has no load button. I am too tired of this shit. There is NO GOOD REASON for disabling the menu buttons or the Rollback. Save Scumming is how you play salami games. They do not have enough content to warrant a second play through!
