I am finding many game breaking things, I won a combat and then it returned me to the ship with all my units as recruitable went back out to try again and lost gained no resources for my victory.

throws warning after warning of security threat and i even chcked a couple listed and not touching this game , doesnt even unpack as a proper ren'py game folder format so beware

The start is way too difficult for many reasons. When you first start off you will fail and go negative in food and then if you return to the menu to restart you'll be bugged out because the same things that should occcur the first time did not occur. Secondly what is the point of the hanger to fight aliens when I get 4 losses consecutively using 8 marines(not even using miners which are much weaker). The best units can't even win how are you supposed to obtain more resources to balance out food/gems/coins income. It's near impossible if RNG is against you. Not only that but IMHO remove the spam clicking of breeding with your breeders to make the pregnancy go quicker because if you have a rough start, it's just hurting your finger instead of being an actual porn game.

lmao, what do you even mean? The game is totally safe, stop spreading misinformation please. How does it not unpack as a renpy game? You just have to unzip it and run... :rolleyes:

I'll work on balancing the game for the next release, but pro tip, you can build the HQ and ask for weekly resources for free.
There is also a bug with the resources after completing a mission so I'll hotfix patch it.

Hey nocturnalillusions, I tried this out and thought I'd offer some feedback.
  • The game opens with the Captain player character having a very casual and mostly inane conversation with the cyborg subordinate. The person designated to be the leader of something as significant as a spaceship saying "Did I miss anything interesting?", "You mean to say they're dead?" and "Gotcha" makes him sound like an incompetent idiot. I see that you were going for some sort of snark/humor, but given the context of a spaceship captain in something of an emergency situation, this tone comes across as the captain not taking his job seriously. More context appropriate things to say might be: "Give me a status report." and "How many of the crew can be revived?" A commanding, serious, and solution-focused tone would make the captain sound more like a person who would actually be put in charge of something important.
  • After the intro dialogue the player is only given the option to "Sleep" as what appears to be a conversation option. It is not apparent from the interface that the player actually needs to click on the unlabeled icon in the upper right. It just looks like a HUD element, along with resources and Day, none of the rest of which are clickable. Once a player figures that out, the various spaceship rooms are totally unlabeled so there's no way for the player to have any idea what they're clicking on. Labels such as "Ship Areas", "Cryo Chamber", and "Hangar" help inform and direct the player.
Several of the other commenters have pointed out bugs so I won't repeat what's already been said.

There's always a balance between building/refining a game vs making a release, but this "0.1" appears very rough and probably not ready for public release. If a player downloads something that is this rough they're probably just going to give it a negative review and never come back.
It is better to release something smaller that is well executed than something ambitious that does not actually work. Put another way: Try to ensure your game's Reach does not exceed its Grasp.

I understand what you are saying, but for the intro dialogue part and the option sleep. How do you "miss" the icon. It literally shows you in the tutorial and Vanessa tells you about it just a few seconds before.
As for the other points I'll try to improve it for the next version. Maybe I should have launched it later when it was more polished but I wanted to gauge player interest and if it was an interesting design or not. I also wanted to take feedback early on so I could identify what was working or not(not at bug level but at a design/core concept). It was really hard to code some of the stuff, that's why it's still buggy but I will polish it up for the next releases

im not only one that posted it and im not kidding i anti virus tossed up a hald dozen warning, so somewhere you have something in the coding that antivirus sees as virus

Just wondering but why the Patreon room so early in the game? To me it wakes away from the game in a huge way. Just my opinion is all.

For the people that wish to support the project from the beginning and so I can give something back even if it is just a small token of my appreciation? I find it more interesting than the usual "you get my thanks and see some reports"

Don't get me wrong as I do think this can be a really good game. I guess my only problem is that I have recrutable people but no way to send them to do what is needed.
