So it seems that Ren'Py 8.2 made some changes to the syntax in line with Python 3.
I'm just editing this now and should have bugfix 2 out shortly. Apologies to all!

Cool. I started a new game with bugfix one and it is broken as soon as you start, so I'll wait for the next one. Hopefully if future iterations require new starts, we can get saves or something so as to not do everything over again. That's a game killer.

I will start a habit of creating saves when I'm testing.

So, turns out Ren'Py 8.2 changed string interpolation.
This one line fixed the entire game.

define config.interpolate_exprs = False

Creating the new builds as we speak.

You're going to want to change that on bugfix2... there's a game breaking bug in that version.

Is the plant quest supposed to prevent all interactions with Sheri?
As long as I don't pick up that quest I can have interactions with her. If I do have it I can't get the laundry room scene and all her interactions fade and no text.

Yes, there was a missing statement to check for the stage of the quest.

You will get a notification when all quests have been found.
The game doesn't end there, as you can repeat things like Yoga. Plus, to be truly Sandbox, we shouldn't just end the game.
