It's really very believable that bunch of folks making Patreon or similar dollars aren't considering them as part of their income. I dunno if that would necessarily end up with a dude going to jail, though.

Of course, the guy could be gay or weird and be from some place where they put gay or weird people in jail. And I guess it isn't necessarily related to his internet activities--guy could've robbed a bank or been busted for drugs, or who knows what.

It is possible it was due to tax evasion but very, very unlikely. That's rare occurrence and would probably land a decent amount of jail time. But the wording of the Patreon post implies that it would be sooner rather than later. I'm guessing something smaller like a DUI or check fraud. Unless the "brother" is being dishonest and just collecting funds.

If you look at the header of this thread you will see that these are [Flash] games and therefore require a flash player. Either the stand alone one from Adobe or a browser that still supports flash like Internet Explorer.

The report function in my mind is something you use when someone is doing something against the rules, but I suppose that is also a good use for it!

Maybe, if you are a US American. Everywhere else that doesn't mean jack shit. You can take other people's artwork. The only ones that can keep you from it is 1) the owner and 2) the authorities.
A service like Patreon has no business in acting police and doesn't have the right either.
