I'm not totally sure if you can catch the shinies or not, I defeated jessie like 10 times in the forest but never caught her.

Also you don't actually have to defeat the ghosts or summon them in battle to get the ghost scene or animated scene, the button that activates those scenes is simply to the left outside the screen. Fastest place to earn money is always the forest.
Funny dialogue, only slightly grindy gameplay, and great art that is well animated. This is going places.
Edit: People on newgrounds seem to mention a one-time Nurse Joy scene, I have no idea how to get it and apparently after you load the save it disappears. Maybe bullshit, but who knows.

I was able to catch the main four and Eevee as well though had similar issues with Jessie; after dozens of times defeating her with and without the escape ropes I couldn't catch her. Every time I've found Misty (grass room) and Joy (beach room) they're 'echos' and are un-catchable, I haven't found anyone in the volcano room at all.

the password / patreon codes are notworking for me. The game did not load for me on local so I am trying to play it on newgrounds. I am just supposed to type the codes one by one in that console right?

How to get access to Nurse Joy scene: after defeating her, you should have a message with something like "you feel like the lobby has changed", go to the shop area, and click the pink(previously red) + symbol in what looks like a nurse station.

so the only shiny that is potentially catchable is nurse joy? guessing that's valcano room, unless squirtle room has 3 spawns. Unfortunate that some shinies are glitched and it's kind of unneccesarily grindy since multiple purchases per shiny book is prefered (it should really only need 1 purchase for decent spawn rate per room imo). I look forward to the finished product.
