Dev Update #3
Things are going well. I want to launch in February. I even took a week off my full time job that month to make sure it is in good shape.
As for the game, the gui is now done, as well as a few minor little extras to add a bit of flair and fun to the game without getting in the way. It is pretty similar to DA in that regard so nothing to be shocked by on that front.
Render count is a bit lower than I would liked these last couple weeks. The last scene I did, the renders did take some time, even with this new engine. I was hoping to be at about 400 but I am currently sitting around 350. But, I also made a pile of animations in these last couple weeks as well, I think you guys will be pleasantly surprised. One of them I couldn't stop staring at
Later I do plan on actually redoing a couple of the animations I did when I first started. What I have learned in the last couple weeks I feel my first entries are not up to par. Should be fairly quick. A day or two to remake them, but it will be well worth it.
As for the image above. That is a nicer view of the doc. I did a full texture rework of her yesterday since I found her skin had a rubbery look to it. It is much better now, far more detailed and will come out in her scenes far crisper and realistic. It took me all day, but totally worth it. I also slightly adjusted her jawline because i felt it was far to big, so now she has a more feminine look about her.
Now I gotta get back at it
