The key is to have a good reputation,
running two other games and be clear in your intentions.
Your question makes sense and also gives me a way to explain the work behind the scenes:
To do 150 good images you need around 1,5/2 days.
There are actually at least 280 images taken because the remaining ones were used to create the nine animations.
Let's say another 2 days (images + complete animations).
Of the initial 150, 22 were retouched by hand and another 7 for the finale of the new animation (around 1 day).
Now that all is ready I have only to write and code it... (at least 2 days.)
Paking and uploading can be done without my personal presence in front of the PC so they can stay out of the bill.
When I speak of one day I mean around 8 hours.
At my pace, I work at least a week for a DLC.
Until this month my patreon was around 20$.
In the end.
Basically, I work all my spare time to pay back the electricity spent on the PC...
But I do it beacouse I like it and...
