Cannot play any games I download none

I cannot play any games I download on here, none

Here is the error I get from every game I try to play. Any idea what I should do ?

It's a windows file [I'm on windows 8.1 which is probably considered a dinosaur of a PC these days], but I fixed it, tried windows update and it fixed whatever was going on. It's all tied into that Visual C++ Redistibutable thing for windows
