C++ 2008 install error

I am trying some games from Escu:de which all won't open. I have nailed the problem down to C++ 2008 being the problem to which I tried to install but run into this error message. I have tried everything from a clean reboot, turning off firewall, update the .NET, scanning and repair using the terminal, running compatibility mode, starting as admin, etc. I uninstalled all Visual C++ from 2005-2022 and redownloaded them all but only the 2008 version continues to give me an error. Like I'm literally doing all this for a nut, please help....

1. You are not supposed to ask tech assistance here (ig)
2. Check if other players of this game face same issue and how they fix it
3. Check if the game runs on some other pc
4. If all other options fail, then STOP WASTING TIME ON THAT SPECIFIC GAME AND CHECK OUT OTHER ONES! IF YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR A NUT THEN WATCH ITS PORN VID VERSIONS!

I have tried finding the files and deleted them which still gives me an error. I found 2 mentioned files similar to the case in the EA thread but still does not work. I'm hanging up the coat on this one for now. Thanks for the help.
