I think it'd be beneficial for translators to be compensated similar to how exhentai is handled and for collaborative projects have a way to compensate based on work done. Theres a lot of requests and i'm certain people would pay for their obscure game thats been neglected a proper translation.

Could just be me, but I don't think what we want is what these people were thinking of when they offered their skills to translate and teach.
