Red-headed lesbians are my thing, and yet I don't recommend this game unless you also love gigantic breasts and incest, and can tolerate mediocre renders and poor story and writing in a game that seems to sometimes forget that it's a visual novel.
I'll start with the story and writing, because there's a lot of it, and it's not good. (If you're only interested in the sex, skip to the bottom.)
The writing seemed to imply to me only a vague understanding of women, queer women, sister relationships, how gravity works, how baths work, how laundry gets dry, what classified information actually is, and the difference between vaginal lubrication and discharge.
The dialog and writing are frequently stilted and unrealistic, with frequent typos, missing words, etc. Here are some examples from the very beginning:
The older sister has never had a girlfriend in 5 years of living by herself? And yet she's asking her younger sister why she's never been in a relationship?
Right after the older sister tells her younger sister that she's "100% gay" (in a really cringy way), her younger sister asks why she's never had a relationship, adding,
After her younger sister finishes taking a long bath, saying that she fell asleep in the tub, the older sister chides her with,
These examples are all from the very first day, and it doesn't improve from there. On the second day we have gems like, "It might be time to simply learn to wear bra's," said by the younger sister with breasts the size of watermelons. What?
The story, actions, and dialog frequently don't make sense and made me facepalm throughout.
Have body image issues? Just walk around naked!
Out of clean clothes? Just start the washing machine and go to bed, because if you leave your clothes in the washing machine overnight they'll be dry by morning!
A high school teacher having sex with a student, that's fine - the school can handle that. But a dorm monitor doing it? That's a serious problem, because a dorm monitor is "the person in charge"!
This dildo that I was planning on using on you that I just dropped on the floor on purpose? It's still good, it's still good! It's not like it'll have every single bit of dirt off the floor stuck to it. And all worry about it being covered in dirt will be forgotten after we switch from using it anally to vaginally. Nothing like an infection to make you forget all about that dirt!
The characters are very unrealistic, and the writing frequently seems fixated on minute details - like who should change, and in which room, and where the discarded clothes go - that it's distracting and a little annoying. There's no choice or images for the changing of clothing, so it all feels unnecessary.
And when we get to the big reveals about the plot threads that have been teased all along - the mysterious letters, the break in, why both sisters ran away, the missing mother, etc. - it all felt dumb and unsatisfying.
Further, an incest relationship is a difficult one to get right. To be realistic it needs to be slow and gradual, with enough time for feelings to grow and realization to set in. The sisters need to have time to acknowledge their growing, forbidden feelings. This game does not do that.
Here, the older sister just randomly starts picturing her sister naked on the very first day. After randomly visualizing her younger sister naked with no provocation, the older sister then starts gawking at her sister like a horny teenage boy who's never seen a woman in underwear before. And that's followed immediately by,
It's all way too fast, and not at all believable.
Let's say you don't care about story and writing, well...
This game seems to often forget about the visual part of Visual Novel. It frequently misses opportunities for presenting appropriate images. For example, the younger sister looking for her pants under the couch seems like the perfect opportunity to show her bending over in her underwear... but there's no image for that. When the older sister imagines her sister naked, we just see an empty room. We're told the younger sister takes a bath, rather than being shown it. So often the characters are described in really sexy positions with no image to go along with it.
Characters are often shown free-floating on top of the background instead of incorporated into the scene. I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but it feels a bit disorienting and disconnected to see a character floating upright when they're described as lying down on the couch. Things improve as the game goes on, with characters being placed in the scene, but the floating over the background never goes away.
The renders are mostly okay, though there are some issues, like changes in facial expressions darkening large sections of the background, and awkward poses, and the variety of poses is rather limited, and Lisa's face looks like she's a robot about to murder you, and Lexi sometimes looks like she's doing the robot dance, and you have to put up with the breasts...
Oh boy, the breasts... The breasts aren't just large, they're enormous. They're so ridiculously large and disproportionate to the tiny torsos that they make me laugh every time I see them, and it just pulls me out of the game. And everyone here has large breasts, though thankfully not all are as ridiculously huge as the two main characters'.
As for the sex scenes, they're okay at best. The static scenes have relatively few images, lighting is sometimes hit or miss, some of the positioning looks awkward, and it requires using your imagination as actions are often described rather than shown.
There's some teasing with underwear and brief nudity over the first two game days, a brief and disappointing masturbation scene on day 3, some more brief nudity on day 4 and 5, a slightly better masturbation scene and a kissing scene on day 6, a dark and obscured masturbation scene on day 7 with your choice of vaginal or anal (which sets your preference for a future scene instead of giving you a choice), and on day 9 there's the first sex scene. The game culminates with an awkward (optional) threesome on day 14, and the possibility of the least sexy foursome ever on day 16. Everything about them is unrealistic - the threesome and foursome are suggested out of nowhere, and are initiated with the equivalent of, "We're all in the same room. Let's strip naked and fuck!"
The only choices for the sex scenes is vaginal or anal for a masturbation scene, which also effects a future scene, and whether to have a threesome or foursome towards the end of the game - provided that you meet the required conditions.
