This game needs a lot more images. It feels absolutely unbalanced with texts. Developer seems a lazy person because renders (the very few) are good. End of this update for example it is absolutely ridiculous not include a pair of scenes with sisters at bed at least. I am interested anyway.

I liked the fact that it was playing out more like a Visual Novel than a Visual Comic... Comics rely more on the visual references then the dialogue, where as Visual Novels should tend to be more based on a good script along with some supporting visuals... As per your example, the part where the sisters slept in the same bed, I felt the script described what was occurring very well, and therefore visuals of them actually sleeping in bed together were not really necessary... I like leaving a few things to the imagination rather then having everything thrown in my face...

Sometimes too many visuals can take away from the story, and I didn't feel that in this one... Only qualm I had was with the realism of the fancy apartment furnishings for a single woman working as a sales clerk... Beyond that, I think there was a good balance of visuals and text since it is trying to tell you a story rather then just showing you one...

Plus it's still early in development, so who knows what may be added or changed as it progress'...

wow i didnt realise this was so short, what a shame
yup. that's my only issue. cute game, real short. i'd like to see more. a lot more. xD

on a side note, any kind of way to know if you're making the right or wrong choices would be cool too. but its all good. can't expect everyone to be a programming expert.

Were there right or wrong choices?
i don't know. that's half the fun and also half the problem with these kind of games =)

all choices do seem to led to the next scene anyway, which is totally cool by me. because in the end, i just want to see all scenes the developer made. i don't want something to be locked out because i made a healthy meal instead of the meal that sister likes and failed to get some hidden relationship point nonsense lol.

So far, this game is not bad at all. While short, it is still a work in progress, so fair enough. The amount of images though is a bit small. A few more instead of walls of text would be nice, but it is only a minor gripe.

Overall, looking forward for the rest of it.

I usually find that visual novels that excel, tend to go with choices that don't alter the main plot too severely but maybe give you different dialogue results or perhaps go down a slightly different story path but still push the main plot along in the same direction... I mean, if you want to just be friends with one character and be in love with another, that should be an option... And visa-versa, if a different player/reader wants to do the polar opposite, then having that option available is good also...

For this particular visual novel, i like the direction the author is taking it and I like that the options are at least there now and then, even if they push the story in the same direction just with slight alterations... I don't mind that, as long as the story is engaging, creative, fun, and so forth...

Thus far, I find I tend to like the love stories the best, the longer the better... Short stories with a bunch of sex scenes thrown in I find boring and unoriginal...

Mac version won't launch, it just says "The application BloomingLove can't be opened." Since it's a Ren'Py game I can try to fix it, it could be a permissions problem. I'll report back what I find.

I was right, it was permissions. These files inside the app bundle need a good ol' chmod 755:
Contents/MacOS/lib/darwin-x86_64/BloomingLove
Contents/MacOS/BloomingLove
Contents/Resources/autorun/BloomingLove.sh

Why not 777? You're not serving it on the Internet, so rwx, rwx, rwx (vs 755 which means rwx,r-x,r-x) for a game you're trying to play would seem to be appropriate. Unless this is just you saying "I invoke the magic incantation 'chmod 755'" because you don't know what it actually means, just means that the gods magically deliver your porn to you if you get the incantation right. :D
