It's not really abandoned; Current version out (as of december 2018) is 0.15.001. You can look into it, however much of the new content is still in Russian (or has blank but selectable options).

What? Currently DS is working on Glamour only, he didn't announce anything on patreon or discord about BB.. not to mention being in patch .15 and not .14. Imo just announcing him continuing BB would get him supporters on patreon.

It's almost been a year now since the last update and we were just getting started on the best parts. So sad to see such a great game go like this with the talent and time spent on it by some serious developers. Patreon had to just fucking ruin it with their rules...
I'm sure that not a lot of people are into Glamour as well since most of these porn based games have a majority Male based audience and so they can't really relate with the experience of a female protagonist. It would've been more acceptable in my opinion if Glamour was more of a side project and Patreon still authorised the to make Big Brother as their main one. Yea I get that the developers are just trying to branch out to do something different but they are losing their audience, that loved their past work, more gradually...
i was played 14 hrs nonstop for the first time was very addicted but its very looooongg and a lot of click to new scene, very very patience to new scene .... i give up

I actively blame DS. He made it well known that Big Brother was not his kink. There were ways to get around Patreon rules. He was making enough to even consider some more direct funding. Once Eric was gone DS lost interest. Glamour was a fail the first time and it will never match BB. I am unsure if DS had banked enough that he was ok with the change or he actually thought he would get the same numbers for Glamour. On my part, I don't trust him enough to over pay for a project via monthly installments for a second time
What do you think? , what does the rest of the text say in that line
.Sadly it was a Patreon thing. The Dev team has switched to a new game called Glamour. If you want to try that, they just released an offline version.

so it was indeed eric's fault, but DS shouldn't have had taken it so slow, srsly finish the projects in like 1-2 years
