In terms of the tech demo doing its job, no performance issues. I did notice that the foreground rain lair vanished when I came out of the combat test while the ground-splatter effects persisted. And moving vertically in the field has your sprite automatically face right, so when you move up-left, you moonwalk.

looks promising, Roundscape and Uprising was great. I hope that turns out even better than them.

You seem to have all the answers for games development so share your wealth of knowledge with the rest of the class.
You take a dev that's used RPGM for practically all their games, have experience with it, know it and have made games thousands of people play and enjoy.
Take that dev and put them on a brand new engine they have never used before while having people expecting a new game relatively soon.
Just what do you think the outcome would be?
I don't have your vast knowledge in this field but even I know that would be a cluster fuck but you know best.

It has taken them about 2 years to release a tech demo of this when it was scheduled for a full release at the beginning of this year (and last year before that). They have delayed Uprising's new update I think it was 5 times until it was finally put as TBA. Good thing people were expecting a new game relatively soon and that they are working with something they are masters with.
Also yeah, you clearly dont.

Looks like i was right. Great game ideas and visual looks but sadly it's from the wrong devs who either release broken stuff with dozens of different artists or can't deliver in time and become unreliable. :/

Eh, largely depends on peoples preference. Yay they have very niche fetishes you don't see in every game, but at the expense of adding fetishes you don't like. But most of these fetish scenes are avoidable and skipable in roundscape so no big deal for me lol.

Wasn't this game supposed to be done awhile ago? How are they just around to releasing a demo without any content? I guess the 2018 release date isn't happening.

It's a tech demo, it's not to tease or promote, it's just to gather feedback about three specific things: dialogue, combat and performance.
