Are VR games gone?

Fully 3D games that render in engine are rare enough to begin with, then you have to add in development for parallax projection and motion control across a wide variety of hardware that almost no one has. VR just hasn't hit its stride yet, it's going to take a while for it to settle in.

Not dead, Meta is still throwing money into Quest, but there is not the excitement of a few years ago. There are rumors Valve is working on a new headset, this could boost interest again and so we might see a few folks try their hand at developing a game. For what it is worth,
