I just got this error too. I don't remember having this problem on 4.0 but I don't think it interferes with progress though. Only thing sucks if you didn't save because you can't back out of it.

Maybe you have more than one .qsp file in the folder? If you have more than one the game won't launch.

there located in the same area of Son of a Bitch, so when you go to clear your cache on your webbrowser just ZIP them real quickly clear stuff and than extract them.
I don't understand this. I thought the saves on the computer? I don't know the location though. I had to start over when I moved from 0.4 to 0.5

You would have had to since variabl3s and stuff changes between games but saves are located here
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\Сохранения игр Quest Navigator\ <-- Contains folder(s) with large string of numbers and letters. Check date and time of creation. It's the best indicator to see which one you'll need! In there you'll find *.sav file(s)
