Update, 4 November : I figured out now that you can kinda "teleport" by right-clicking on buttons that change the map (doors, pathways, etc). This saves a loooot of time. Also I figured out that the collection is in the inventory on the left side. Especially the right click thing is something that should be told to the player right at the start. I might change my rating and review here depending on how the game keeps going.

Original Review:

I'd love to give this game 5/5, but right now it's 3/5 for me.

Pros:
- I like the artstye even though it's a bit dated. But we don't see the typical generic DAZ or Illusion models here, which feels very refreshing.
- Sex scenes often offer a variety of poses that you can click through, which is great
- The handbuilt world looks often good and also feels refreshing, and I am generally a fan of open worlds (more about that later)
- The humour is great
- Many different girls, a lot of content

So overall, the game is high quality, made with a lot of passion at least in terms of the world design, it's visually really appealing. However, that's a bit overshadowed by many downsides.

Cons:

- The game takes the "go to A and get X, then go to B and get Y" too far. Often, you come to a new place but instead of getting little tasks right there, the game sends you across the whole map over and over again. This can become very tedious, especially on places like the hill, where you just sit there bored and wait for the MC to walk up for like 30-50 seconds in total.

- The game is literally unplayable without a guide, which is basically just bad game design. There is even a hint system in the game, but it often doesn't help. For instance, I had the hint "Spend some quality time with Dee Dee". What the hint didn't tell me:

I have to go into the sewers to fix some pipes to make the fountain dwell again. But in order to do so, I have to get a valve. The valve is found it mom's home. At this point in the game, you've explored like 8 different places with several rooms. Without searching the thread of this game on F95 I'd have probably guessed for HOURS where that little valve could lay around.

There is a downloadable guide, but again: That's what the ingame hint-system is supposed to be for. This is just lazy. A player should explore a game naturally and it should always make sense and not be so overcomplicated and annoying, that you have to read through pages and pages of guides.

Also the game never tells the player that he can even show hints by pressing H, or that there is the shortcut overview menu when you press O.

- Talking about being slow.. there's a lot of stuff to collect ingame. Especially photos and dolls. Never was explained what the dolls and photos are there for. I have no idea WHY I should collect them. When I pick up a photo, it says "added to collection" or something of that kind. But there is no collection at all. Each time the MC does a squad and picks the pictures and dolls up. And he does that really slow and you have to wait before you can move again.

There is no benefit in showing me his pick-up animation for the 145th time. It would be help the dynamic of the game a lot if you just click on stuff and it gets added to your inventory.

- Same when NPCs leave the scenery. You have to watch them walk away for 10 seconds before you can move again, for no reason. Often it would be impossible for the player to collide with them if you gave the control back already after 2-3 seconds.

- When you press "cum" in a sex scene, and the MC is done with cumming, the sex scene just ends and throws you back into the game world. It would be great if cumming wouldn't throw you out of the whole sex scene.

- The MC has the typical pedophile/serial killer look which is a bit weird. Also his D is a little small, especially for his size. But he is still okay as an MC, could be worse.

TL;DR

So overall, what drags the game down, is the missing ingame questlog/hint system/guide, the tedious tasks that send you across the whole map too often, the slow walks and pickup animations and the lack of explanations. Also the open world would benefit from some real open world gameplay, which means the player can decide for himself when to go where. Especially in a game that barely has any story and doesn't even need to have events in any chronological order.

Solid game, had a lot of fun playing it.

Art-

Good, nothing spectacular by 2023 standards, but still nice enough to look at. Dev is obviously a big stockings/underwear fan which is a big + from me, albeit somewhat subjective. Skin textures are good with lots of variety in things like pube styles/areolae.

Dialogue-

Great, kept me chuckling through with the MC-himself banter, and very little engrish problems. Easy to understand, the only downside is it can be easy to miss a detail at the end of each conversation about where you should go next, and since there's no rollback one needs to be careful.

Audio-

Great,
1) actually present and not obnoxious BG music.
2) appropriate for settings, along with suitably pitched moaning for each girl during sex.

Mechanics/UI-

Decent, but could be improved. I like the Monkey Island/scumm engine style drag and drop items to interact with an object, and once you figure it out you can go quickly. What I don't like is the stark lack of hotkeys for inventory management and other UI functions like checking trophy doll collections. Why do I have to click through 4 buttons/menus to see this thing I just picked up? (like a piece of HR software) Just bind a quick button that opens inventory or opens photos, easy, done.

Gameplay-

A lot of fun, though with some grindy segments. An in-game hint system accessed with "h" makes things a lot easier when you get stuck. This was the first game that had some kind of "collectibles" where I actually wanted to obtain more not just for completion's sake or as a goal, the porn mags and photos you pick up are a joy to flip through.

Overall I'd give it a 4.3 or 4.4, a few things like the UI and grindy segments keep it from being excellent, but still a damn fun game. Rounding to 4.

This game is extra. Like too much. Like giiiiiiiirrrlrlrlrlrlrlrlr you need to sit your ass down. The dialogue is stupid but funny. But what makes this game terrible is the robot fucking chicks. Non of the games characters look good. They look too uncanny and creepy. Like I'm pretty sure every girl in this game has at least killed one person in their lives. But the game is varied and intuitive. Honestly that is what saves this from being a one-star. But besides the game's virtues, it's like a busted up whore barely worth your time. But the time I had playing it was kinda funny. For like 10% of it but that might have just been because my brain wasn't working whilst playing it. *cough*. What did I rate this again? 10/10 it's a masterpiece.

One of those highest quality games that no one can possibly not like. Can't go wrong with it really. Hours and hours of engaging gameplay, this game is really a masterpiece. Top spot in my list. Very few others that even come close in terms of gameplay quality.

Probably one of the best games here. Only wish there were pregnancy. Day/Night would also be a nice addition.

Angel is probably my favorite.

Long game, well worth the play. Great story lines.

Review of Adventures of Willy D v1.1.0

The very first version of this game I played is v1.1.0 and I had never even heard of it before. I've played many games on this site in the past 2 years and this game has been around since 2017, so I don't know how I missed it.


Pros:
Content. There is a ton of it. I guess the main storyline is done and some side stories are still under development, but there is no denying the game has a lot of content to play through and it's what you would expect it to have after 5 years, and it really helps to cancel out all of the game's shortcomings.


Neutral:
1. It's designed to have a gaming experience, but the experience itself is kind of a mixed bag. The typical quest system is OK and most of the quests have sexy rewards. However, most of the gaming is the "Where's Waldo" experience of looking for photos and dolls in various locations within the game world. The photos/dolls/etc. have no impact on the game itself, they're just like optional achievements, in other games. This is an adult game, and I just don't fathom how adults actually like that kind of gaming experience, but I won't knock the game for that. The puzzles are also childish. There were only 3 or 4 puzzles that were worth playing through, and even they didn't make very much sense.

The developer makes a couple of jokes in the dialogue about some of the tedious searching players go through looking for a specific character, or a trophy, and how the game has no concept of time, etc. At least he realizes some people will think the gaming experience is lame.

2. The story is really shallow. There's some subtle humor, but it's not very funny. I suspect most of the humor was simply lost in translation. The ending to the main story was really the only thing that made me laugh.

3. Scenes with less-common or more-controversial fetishes such as netorare, swinging, MMF threesomes, and even anal should be optional to make the game appeal to a broader audience. If the developer is in this to make money, that's just good business.

Cons:
1. The MC is ugly AF. Ok, aren't we all, but this is a gaming fantasy, right?
2. The models and renders are low quality and grainy.
3. The size of the game 28GB. TWENTY-EIGHT GIGABYTES!! That's just stupid. Even more stupid given the low quality of the renders and the low-quality fake 3D world. The bloated game size is either pure laziness or a severe deficiency of the game engine.
4. The lewd scenes are boring. They are more robotic than erotic. The dialogue during the lewd scenes is either cringy or boring.
5. The game has terrible spelling/grammar errors of most adult games, including he/she errors that make the dialogue hard to follow.
6. The game technology/mechanics are literally the worst I've ever experienced in playing over 300 adult games. Seriously, worse than garbage.

• Walking is painfully slow, even the fast-walk is slow, even looking around a room is just barely faster than walking.
• Animations repeat for too long. Sometimes the entire animations can't be skipped. Sometimes animations can be skipped, but doing so skips to the end of the scene instead of to the next part of the scene.
• The animations of picking up dolls, picking up photos are painfully slow. I can only be thankful that the developer didn't make animations of the MC taking off and putting on his clothes or I'd be playing another month to finish the game.
• The main storyline is very linear and the game forces players to intentionally trigger story progression by selecting a specific but meaningless dialogue item in a conversation. E.g., ending a conversation with "Bye" then the MC going to work does nothing, but selecting "Bye, I'm going to work." causes the story to progress. Really, the trigger should've been something else entirely.
• The user interface is a buggy mess. Examples: The menu doesn't open when dialogues are active. This game has either severe lag or intentional delays between almost everything. I experience 5 hangs where I had to kill the game and start it again. The mouse cursor disappears when there is a dialogue between characters, but players can still move the invisible mouse cursor. Why not just leave it visible so at least players know where it's at? I had one point where the MC was permanently walking around with the words "That's Miss Sky's car" over his head, even after saving and reloading. I had to load an old save to get rid of it. There are very obviously race conditions in the underlying code and clicking too fast between two user interface operations can easily expose bugs. I'm suspecting the laggy behavior is intentional to reduce bugs due to race conditions.
• The Zoom in/out feature during lewd scenes changes the size of the people but not the rest of the objects in the scene.

7. I think this is a case where the game has been in development for so long that the game technology and mechanics are no longer relevant. The size of the game, the low quality of the renders, the slow/laggy performance, the terrible user interface--they're all indications that this game was left behind by newer/better game technologies.

Best game of all times. Many Gratz to Nenad Asanovic for 5 years working on this game. (ALONE) The only one with real full animations, real sound and real voiced, And perfectly synchronized with all the sounds Amazing ideas for the quests and about unlocking all the scenes (if some one wants them all). And not some boring but Amazing story.And two walktroughs. One pdf file with pics and text 150 Mb and one text file walktrough. I've finished the incest and normal game and its justPERFECT. So waiting for version 1.1 comming very soon.

Many people are confused with the versions... 0.50=051. etc. You need just to dowload version 0.52 and install. Dont play. Then download 1.0 ( it's for now from patreon) with a torrent. The 1.0 update you have to install it in the right folder. You have to open your game folder twice. You must install it inside where the game exe. is. So version 0.52 will be 1.0 And start a new game.

From one of the best titles back in 2017/2018 this game (I'll call it AoWD) degenerated into a bitter disappointment that you would be wise to ignore as there are much better options for your time.

AoWD's best feature is the mind numbing scope & quality of 3D assets & animations Nenad is able to piece together. It's not just woman models (as impressive as that area is all by itself), it's also landscapes, interiors, other characters, etc. The world of AoWD is incredibly well fleshed out & alive for a one-dev game.

AoWD's worst feature is how terribly all its major promises (storyline, gameplay, technical soundness) degenerated into nothing or worse because the project was milked way way WAAAAA AAAAAAA AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA AAAAAAY past any reason, to the point where even minor faults found a way to devolve into major annoyances. I've never been so sorry to see this happen to any other porn game (milking a porn game until it becomes utter garbage is a very common problem due to how financing is available for these projects).

Initially, writing was pretty interesting. Nenad brought in promises of kinkiness suitable to serious pervs with what seemed like an exciting central incest story. Writing in general was playful and reasonably funny, with an infusion of style from old time Sierra quests. Very importantly, the main story seemed to go somewhere and quests in general were aligned with this sense that they are going somewhere.

But then, sometime around 2019, everything changed. The central incest story got sidelined and instead a torrent of utterly boring side-stories started to be piled on. Release after release for 2+ years we would get more of the same filler content that's so sterile and brain dead it seems AI-generated. There is practically no connection between these mini-quests and also, there is absolutely no sense that you discover something using your brain in an open game world. You are just mindlessly directed go there, click this, now go there, now there, now sex scene, now go there, on and on and on. Oh and just to make things much worse, for some reason Nenad decided players want to go into every screen for every release looking to collect items like photo-cards, small "dolls"or lingerie just to see these in a separate collections area of the game. Because apparently a guy exists that at some time was cocaine-level happy with this and Nenad heard about this guy so about 20% of the whole game is dedicated to that guy and his need for collections.

As if the above was not bad enough, a major problem was introduced when sex scenes were switched from a style with minimal talking and an ability to see a few positions to a style where the whole sex scene is one gargantuan dialogue that's as boring as I hope you can imagine by now and all you're left to do is left click like a monke to progress through.

As already touched on, gameplay is garbage. You simply have no chance to play this without using a walk-through. The number of characters you can talk to is huge, the number of locations is huge and you're riding a very linear story that has no smart hints on what you should do next. Most times a strong hint is provided but if for some reason you missed it or the hint is just shit or missing (happens often), not only do you not have the ability to rollback and re-read previous lines but you also don't have a quests book / guideline in-game to smartly help you through. All you can do is just read and follow the walk-through (or use the in-game "cheat" on what to do next but that only works for important quests), which kills any satisfaction you should get from figuring things out by yourself.

Finally, even if everything above was better than it ended up being, this game is fatally sunk by its technical problems. The game engine (Visionaire Studio) has so many ridiculous problems and it's so poorly suitable for games released with episodic content that AoWD is not worth playing solely because of its engine.

First, there is no way to advance dialogues using the keyboard. You have to execute tens of thousands of painful left clicks just to move through script lines. TENS OF THOUSANDS! But it gets worse. A few years ago, the engine version used in AoWD had a problem where a left-click would be interpreted as two, which meant you quickly skipped over a dialogue line. Remember what I said about missing hints and not being able to re-read? This made the problem much worse. But wait! There's more! The 2-for-1 left-clicks problem was replaced with an even more annoying one. For some reason the garbage engine randomly and frequently (every few dialogue lines) just stops registering left-clicks. You painfully click like a moron after you've already clicked a thousand times and nothing happens. Now you have to move the hidden mouse cursor around, blindly hunting for a magical invisible position where left-clicks are again registered for a few lines until, again, they stop registering. I'm telling you this experience alone makes the game not worth touching, especially when you think about the mediocrity of what you're missing.

And finally-finally, there's the saves-problem. You are unable to use your own saves made with a previous AoWD version to resume playing in a newer version. It's yet another problem caused by the garbage game engine. The consequences are dramatic as you HAVE to source & use saves provided by Nenad. This somewhat works IF AND ONLY IF you follow the walk-through (so the experience is already neutered) and you play each and every release as it's available. However, if for some reason you want to visit this game every 6 months instead of keeping up with 30 minutes (max) of content every ~1 month then you are fucked. Not only do you need to reserve 20+ GB of disk space just to keep your AoWD installation on disk waiting for the next release that comes as a ~1 GB upgrade (unless you want to re-download 20+ GB every time) but you also need to apply successive upgrades to your installation and this takes an annoyingly long time even with a fast SSD. But wait! Again, there's more! Let's say you last played v5 and you've just upgraded to v6 > v7 > v8 > v9 > v10. Now you need Nenad's saves for v10 as no other saves work if you want to resume playing from where you left off at v5. Now you try to use the in-game mechanism to resume playing from the end of v5 instead of the assumption that you want to resume from the end of v9. Surprise! The game state provided by Nenad in this case is *NOT* the same state you would get if instead of upgrading to v10 you would only upgrade to v6 and install Nenad's saves for v6. What does that mean? The walk-through doesn't work for you so you are totally fucked and disgusted and curse the moment when you thought this game is worth playing. The only solution is to diligently source and keep Nenad's saves for each release and then when you're ready to play v6 .. v10 do so in steps. You upgrade to v6, apply his saves for v6, play v6, repeat for v7 .. v10. It's a shit show.

It's no accident or wonder this game has so few supporters. Just like in the case of Foot of the Mountains, the developer made major bad decisions that in turn made the game unapproachable to new players, leaving the dev a slave to a small group of fans / supporters who are able & willing to closely follow along.

It's tragic because the wasted potential here is huge and, again, just like in FotM's case, the dev learned nothing from his mistakes and is just happy to continue the exact same modus operandi as evidenced in his newer game EON. Same engine, same problems, same shit all over again.

This is the best game I've ever played. The new eon is also very good. Hundreds of character modeling animation CG are very good.
Photos, dolls, file bags and other collection elements are also good, but also a little decrypted. Generally speaking, it is a masterpiece, which is a little flawed. The version directly spans a lot from the end of 0.52-1.0. I look forward to more stories and CG characters in version 1.1

-faces (80%) are typically daz-weird ones. unnatural eyes area, so more like robot dolls with face skin being attached badly. in other words "naturality" test was failed. i couldnot perform mental gymnnastic and imagine that it were 3d-ed faces of real humans . so no attractive facial feature as a rewards for me

Willy is Mr.Bean fused with Austin Powers and I love every second of it. It's rare to find a adult game that has the right amount of sex and the right amount of writing. It starts off as this sort of wall breaking deadpool type game where I think it's gonna get old fast to an actually funny and fun game to watch and play. I love just about all the characters in it. 11/10 Willy D is a Champion.

Best game ever. The largest story, the most animiations, perfect with real sound and voices and nice story and grapchics. Just ameazing. I'm waiting for version 1.1. The pictures here doens't look good enoug,h they are better in game. the bodys and the skins looking like real.

This was the first game I played that made extreme impression on me... When start with the incredible atmosphere, never seen this atmosphere in almost any other game, that combined with the really hot girls, sceneries and scenes, funny dialogues at times, feels like a real adventure. And it's really relaxing game, like a breath of fresh air, didn't find any other game like this one , other than the new one "EON", keep the great work man.

This game has everything there should be. It is a pity that there are no regular updates to it, because the game world can still be expanded and new locations can be added.

This is a game that will never get boring and you will cry with laughter while playing.

Honestly the game is not very player friendly. There are many quest that introduce a lot of grind and puzzles that are not really fun. The scenes get boring and repetitive quite quickly. The engine the game is running on is also not the most ideal for this type of game. For me, the story will give you a headache in the latter parts especially if you are the least bit invested in the characters.

Overall it is a good quality game I mean so many animation and script with mroe than 3 years development so you can't ask more than that. But there is some cons you may need to aware: it may took extremely long time to complete the whole story from the beginning and there is no cheat to unlcok all collection for this game unfortunately, it make me really frustrated there still several stuffs missing and I couldn't find them at all. By the way there are so many character that separate in different location and there is two main route that make the whole game completely different, it is kinda inconvinient to visit each character and replay those scences.

Kudos to the dedication put into this game! I am astounded. Its a brilliant game and deserves much more light on it!

Unfortunately, the game doesn't seem to make too much money on patreon, and I assume it is because it lacks some elements that people want. If I were Nored, I'd sell my models to other developers since the lack of unique female models is one of the problems with most games. To give an example, the mom from Man of the House, or Janet from Treasure of Nadia, can be found in many games on the site. I haven't seen developers using Nenad's models, but it's their loss.

One complaint I have about the game is that, despite having a hint system, it is still easy to miss a lot of good content. Also, the game is huge, so you could end up playing for days without triggering some events because you forgot to say something to someone, or to collect something.

The NTR thing is one of the typical complaints about the game. I personally like it better with NTR.

The MC is Mr. Nice Guy, and all women want him for mysterious reasons. The story isn't extraordinary, you just go do some chores for a lady and she rewards you.

There isn't much character building, there aren't stats to maximize, just a lot of women to go through. Which is fine.

Currently(v1.0), there are some bugs in the game. You can't magnify some scenes, or the dolls, and sometimes parts of very few scenes are missing, and only the background is shown. Another bug I noticed is that you can't fast travel through all the doors with right click.

The game isn't too grindy at this stage, but, if the money pile is removed, it has the potential of becoming too grindy, because the MC cannot earn enough money doing quick chores. And there is no point in doing chores for money even in real life.
