Overview:

I agree re: the pictures. I'm going to invest as much as I can to add art to the game. I don't plan to take a profit from my patreon for a long time. I want to put it all back into artwork.

I can empathize :) FWIW, my game will have a lot more artwork in the future.
My 2 cents: I have been playing adult games for quite awhile (my library is quite large, you could randomly name 10 and chances are I've played at least 6 or 7 of them unless you list extremely obscure ones) and what I have to say is that while art/pictures would definitely be nice... The story itself, the details, and the pacing is actually incredibly good. I was expecting something along the lines of ashford academy, Hentai High School, or something along those lines and instead what I found was an incredibly detailed game with interesting characters, questions, mysteries, and premise. In short, I don't think pictures are what will make your game excel (but they certainly won't hurt), but what WILL is that you keep up your writing style as I found the storing to be intriguing to say the least. The details, events, characters, etc. are better than I expected or could have hoped, my only complaints are 1) Limited content (but still considerably more than 90% of demos released now) and 2) the online browser only approach. The only reason I mention the browser is that when you do start including graphics then those with limited bandwidth or slow speeds may have a lot of trouble playing online, not to mention the issues that can come from freezes or crashes of the browser itself.

I felt like I was playing something that had extreme potential and depth (not to mention details) along the lines of I Love Daddy, Summertime Saga, or Lab Rats but in an environment like that of Ashford Academy, Hentai High School, etc. Keep it up as I do believe I have found a new favorite.

In short: Keep up the amazing work! I may very well become a patreon provided that I have the extra funds in the upcoming month.

Wow, @DragonWrath that was incredibly sweet to say! I really appreciate it! For what it's worth, art isn't going to slow me down much at all. I am not an artist so I'll commission the work. I don't have to take much time away from my writing to do it, just need to describe the picture I want.

How much time did it take to get through it? There are many different paths you can take, BTW. The major forks depend on which transfer students you get. Also, there's many different paths in the sensory deprivation scenes and you can't do all of them in one play through. I'm thinking about writing a guide.

For what it's worth, the game is downloadable, but it's a pledge reward on my patreon.

I wasn't trying to be sweet, but I'm glad that you feel that way. I was just expressing my honest opinion about your game. It took me about an hour and a half maybe? Might have been an hour had I not been cooking dinner as well. I am a fast reader (and sometimes get annoyed when playing certain games made in RPGM or games like the earlier Ethan's Legacy due to the slowness of the text changes and transitions :noexpression:) but I explored the mothers and sensory deprivation paths. I personally don't care for ladyboys(? I think they are called... the feminine males) however I do plan on exploring that path as there is potential for sex in that as they still have their penises but if they are ladyboys then it makes me wonder whether they'll be fucking or -getting- fucked, and I'm (personally) more interested in one than the other, you know? I tend to avoid (most) futa and gay/ladyboy types content as it's just not my thing personally, however there are many that do so just do what you want. I believe that the Principal and I think quite similarly, especially in the incest paths :eek:penedeyewink:. I really wish I could see the good Mia+Olivia night AND the twins at the same time as both scenes were absolutely magnificent.

I explored all of the paths/options that I mentioned above and loved the "hidden" opportunity near the start by going to the gym before the art class (the whole thing with the ribbon) and would love to see much more of that kind of thing. Makes it feel like a choose your own adventure type thing in where what you chose actually HAS a legitimate effect on what can happen (found a few others like that). On one hand I dislike that I can't see all the branching content (such as the night at the dorm options) in one path, but if that was the case then it wouldn't be unique and it would be a lot like most of the self-proclaimed "choose your own path" stuff.

Ah, well in that case, I'm really hoping I have extra funds next month for sure! This game would definitely go into a "favorites" folder once I (finally) make one. I'm definitely looking forward to your next content update... Speaking of, do you have an update schedule you're aiming for or is it free-form "it's done when it's done" approach?

It would be nice to have multiple save slots, not sure why you chose to only have one, but all it really ends up being is an inconvenience. Other than that, and a few minor typos, nothing to really fault here. One of the better written text based games, with clear progression, and a healthy amount of interaction between events(if you know what order to do them in). Good job overall, definitely a game I'll keep my eyes on.

So in porn, they're referred to as Shemales, Ladyboys, transsexuals, and all sorts of other terms. But I think this is generally considered an offensive term by the community. I asked around and was told that "trans girl" is a safe term so that's what I use in my game. I was using "futa" and "futanari" before but a lot of people informed me that was technically incorrect as the trans girls have no vaginas.

There is a scene where a trans girl has sex with a student. I assume you're not into trans girls being fucked though. I don't have a scene like that, but close: There's tongue and finger insertion. Actually, something that most wouldn't be into that I also have: Sounding a transsexual. All of this is optional, though.

I believe that the Principal and I think quite similarly, especially in the incest paths :eek:penedeyewink:. I really wish I could see the good Mia+Olivia night AND the twins at the same time as both scenes were absolutely magnificent.
I'm really glad you liked them. Those are very recent scenes so I wasn't sure if they'd be good. I'm always conflicted about your concern. I get a lot of people saying they want their choices to matter. I interpret this as, "You can either do X or Y, but not both." But then there are some that wish they could go down multiple paths. I think I'll have a mixture of both in my game.

Great to hear! I want to have a unique outcome depending on which story you choose first instead of just for the art class. Here's why I haven't done it already: 1) It's hard to think of stuff to get from the other classes that could be used in the next class! 2) I haven't put a lot of mental energy into working on it. But, more of this type of thing is in the back of my mind.

For me it's more of a "it's done when it's done" approach, but I try to release every 2 weeks. A lot of other NSFW devs told me I should not do it more than that. I would have released about every 2 weeks last month but I gave a poll and the majority wanted me to finish all of sensory deprivation before I released it. Why do you ask?

I have been thinking about making early, work in progress access to the game as a pledge reward. This would be almost nightly updates. Not sure if that's appealing to anyone, but it would give people the ability to comment on the current direction and maybe even change it if they think of something I like.

That's good feedback. The reason there's only one is because it was so much easier than 2-9. Nothing more to it than that. But, here's the thing: It's so much easier to give you 2 than to give you 9. Would 2 slots be a lot better than 1 slot? I could do that in the next release. But, I don't know if I'd have enough time to squeeze in 3+ slots next release. I hope what I just said makes sense.

Here's why it works that way: I'm using twine and a language called Harlowe. It does not provide a save/load screen template! If I knew that earlier I would have used a different language. If I need more slots that can fit on that sidebar, I'm going to have to figure out how to make a save/load page. That will take more time than just adding a duplicate link on the side bar.

Other than that, and a few minor typos, nothing to really fault here. One of the better written text based games, with clear progression, and a healthy amount of interaction between events(if you know what order to do them in). Good job overall, definitely a game I'll keep my eyes on.

Yes, that's true though I find shemales to be a bit... not derogatory but not really respectful and I said ladyboys not as a disrespect or anything but rather that they are well... boys/girls and not men/women in a sense with the way the school is set up, even if they are technically 18 or whatever (which we all know is just a BS justification in many games to skirt certain laws... :eek:penedeyewink:). I'm pro LGBT and yes they are transexual. Just the way it was described made me aslo think of the particular type that is common in some asian countries where they are often referred to as such rather than as transexual, although that could be changing.

On a second note, I actually ended up liking it more than I had thought I would and was actually surprised to discover that the character you play as is actually female. The way she is written just had me thinking male and was both a slight "aww, that sucks" but also "oooh, how interesting". On the one hand I like the idea of the principal being a female "master" kinkster, yet I was secretly hoping that she was actually male and may (at some point) have sex with students and teachers. Being the only male in an all female sex/fetish driven school (in the highest position of power to boot) such as this would put the male in a very unique position of being the almost only person with a penis and could use that to help further the girl's "education" all the while being able to take full advantage of it. I believe I tried all the paths now (unless you added the metal stands to the mother route last night). Also, I picked Luna having the incest fetish, but when going the sensory deprivation route, she ends up with amy (the petite fetish path) instead of one of the twins. I assume you hadn't gotten around to writing that scene yet, but there's a massive amount of potential for a luna, casey (considering her reactions normally) and the twins for a very powerful & unique scene.

Actually, you did a far better job of it than I've ever seen in having a transexual being portrayed. I've noticed a pattern in where when people write transexuals, then tend to almost always be screwed rather than screwing or both. You did a mix and it was extremely well written and found myself enjoying it quite a bit even though it's one of the very few fetishes I'm indifferent to or dislike (in the case of transexuals, I'm merely disinterested, I don't hate it but it doesn't really do anything for me either..... normally anyway).

I actually loved the luna/amy dynamic and events. Tastefully done and adored it (actually felt happy for them when they connected on a special level). As for the tongue and finger stuff... It was actually pretty hot and found myself rather aroused anyway. Very tastefully executed. Props to you and you sir(?) are a very rare breed of writers. You have a skill for details and scene writing that I have found to be exceedingly rare in an environment that it would absolutely thrive. i have a similar skill myself and I will actually send you a copy of a few pages of a book I was attempting to write... Maybe we can help each other out if you like my writing style.

They are... trust me. Maybe they can be slightly improved but that would be trying to polish a metal/chrome sphere that's already blindingly bright, at least in my personal opinion. Also, you are completely correct, although there may be a way to "maximize" the content. By which I mean (for example) the "weekly choices" you have where you chose mothers/transexuals... Well, keep those "repeating" for the following week until all have been chosen but keep the other things more limited such as which rooms you can visit in the dorm at night. Or you can adopt some kind of "energy" system in which you start the "week" with a certain amount of energy that can be used for a limited number of optional scenes like say the olivia/mia bathroom, the 2/3 night visits at the dorm, hallway, etc. This way people will be able to maximize the content that they want but keeping the "choose your own adventure" elements. The drawback is that this would increase the writing to be done for scenes by quite a bit (tripling or even quadrupling the "workload" to account for all the possible combinations) and might be best reserved for further down the road when there is more content first and you have a far better idea of where all you want the game to go/explore... On the flip side, if you were to start it now and put in the framework for it, it could mean less overall progression per update but more possibilities for unique content and combinations. Ultimately, it's entirely up to you but those are just a fractions of the thoughts I've had. The most important thing though, is to focus on what it is that YOU want to do/create and write the stories that YOU want to tell.

Hmm... Referring back to a previous comment about my sending you an example of my writing and contributing if you like, this is an area where I could actually help quite a lot. For example, (depending on certain choices in previous moments) you could have the principle find something like cucumbers, squash, bananas, strawberries, etc while visiting the cafeteria or make it an optional pickup than can randomize WHICH item you get or even better, make what item you get depend on what actions you did or what order you made your choices. While you did quite a bit with paint and brushes in the art class for the metal stands path, you could also have the option for the principal pick up and keep a paint brush while there to use... say during the night at the dorms OR if they chose not to go the metal stands route, then to use during the sensory deprivation path. Depending one which areas you feel like you want to "improve" or add more unique options to, I could help in that regard. Another example is to take jump ropes from gym class to the art class to do "tasteful bondage of everyday items", or test tubes from the biology class for "sample gathering" (female wetness or cum/squirting), or take them to the art class for a "perverted science" theme by inserting the test tubes in the various holes and so on.... I've rambled on enough about ideas but if you like what you read then we should definitely talk more as I would be honored to help you come up with ideas should you want that help/input.

Because I love what you've done so far and it has easily become the number 1 game to keep my eye on very closely. Your game has such amazing potential to me and I can't way to see it blossom even more. Not trying to hype the game or hype myself but... It... It's like reading dean koontz's From the Corner of His Eye or Odd Thomas after trying to stomach the bs crap that was twilight (was ok....ish but overall not that good) or 50 shades of gray (which I dislike as that's -NOT- true bdsm but rather manipulation using cult recruiting tactics and abuse of the bad kind). It's (your game and writing) just plain superior than 90+% of the stuff out now and has the potential to become one of the best there is. Pictures are nice but can easily be forgotten... However it's the story is what will really stick with you long after.

It would be to some but idk if that'd be a good idea for anyone outside of your apha testers/bug testers as it can cause people to become burned out early then lose interest long before it has the chance to truly hit it's stride... Think early access on steam... At first, it seems like a great idea and you're all "oh this looks soooo awesome! can't wait for it to be done but I want to play now" and so you do... but then 2 months later and a massive update comes but suddenly you're all ".... meh". That's caused by the loss of excitement and fun, not to mention the constant restarting and having to see it from the beginning over and over again (which btw is an excellent argument for multiple save slots as that way people can branch their paths and pick up from their saves rather than restarting from the beginning every time when there's been no change).

Two slots would definitely be a lot more workable for freaks like me that try to find every combination of options.

I can only speak for my game, but when I say they are all over 18 it's not a BS justification.

On a second note, I actually ended up liking it more than I had thought I would and was actually surprised to discover that the character you play as is actually female. There's a little clue to that at the intro when it says you put your purse in the drawer. But other than that, most of the beginning stories are ambiguous. The reason for this is that I hadn't decided myself which gender you play as. A bunch of people urged me to pick one over the other and, as you can tell, I have a strong preference for lesbian porn so I picked my preference. I think I'm in the minority, but thinking about the scenes as a female protagonist makes it much more erotic to me.

Not sure what you mean by "metal stands". Have you played Sarah and Mother in the dorm?

Yeah I thought about having Luna go with twins or amy depending on the earlier choice but I didn't have enough time so it always goes amy. That said, it is a good idea to let that earlier choice have an effect. That's a good idea and I'll put it in my backlog. Thanks for that :)

I'll revisit old stories to add details and stuff. I'm actually thinking of pledge reward where I add more detail to a story of your choice. But right now I'm focusing on getting more stories in the game instead of revising the old ones.

Nice, those are all good ideas. I may use a few of them. Feel free to offer them up at any time, I love getting them. I do have a very long list of backlog items though so it will take me a while to implement them. But I do plan to get to the ones I like eventually.

Wow that's a very long reply. Let's see if I can cover it all:
Yeah, sorry about that. I tend to be long winded often, which is one reason I don't post often. The other is that I'm not really a social person and I just tend to lurk... It takes something special (or very special level of ignorance/stupidity that rubs me the wrong way) to make me post at all.

I can only speak for my game, but when I say they are all over 18 it's not a BS justification.
I didn't mean to imply your game wasn't, I was actually referring to quite a few others and them having very obviously young girls as characters you can do naughty stuff with and they claim that... But the evidence shows otherwise. It doesn't bother me in the slightest as it's just art/games. I actually find it amusing sometimes.

There's a little clue to that at the intro when it says you put your purse in the drawer. But other than that, most of the beginning stories are ambiguous. The reason for this is that I hadn't decided myself which gender you play as. A bunch of people urged me to pick one over the other and, as you can tell, I have a strong preference for lesbian porn so I picked my preference. I think I'm in the minority, but thinking about the scenes as a female protagonist makes it much more erotic to me.
True, however there are "man-purses", not to mention that in some cultures, it is actually normal for men to have purses as well. Then there's some places that refer to handbags, small formless briefcases and the like as purses (such as, if I'm not mistaken, certain parts of England)


Not sure what you mean by "metal stands". Have you played Sarah and Mother in the dorm?

Yeah I thought about having Luna go with twins or amy depending on the earlier choice but I didn't have enough time so it always goes amy. That said, it is a good idea to let that earlier choice have an effect. That's a good idea and I'll put it in my backlog. Thanks for that :)
That's what I thought, but don't get me wrong, I actually love that dynamic. I would have been disappointed but I know that it's a WIP and a very early one at that so instead I was just content to wait until the next updates or few (or whenever you're able to get to it).

I thought you might have, but wanted to say anyway just in case. I agree with you focusing on adding more content first as it's obviously a bit too early to think of that. I was thinking more you could use the idea (if you wanted) in your "road-map" guide with it being a goal/milestone/stage in your development of the game (thinking ahead basically).

I'll revisit old stories to add details and stuff. I'm actually thinking of pledge reward where I add more detail to a story of your choice. But right now I'm focusing on getting more stories in the game instead of revising the old ones.
Ohhh, now that would be a cool reward, although you may want to make that a higher tier reward such as $20 (or higher) otherwise you may get flooded and completely overwhelmed with endless requests which would distract you from progressing the game.

Nice, those are all good ideas. I may use a few of them. Feel free to offer them up at any time, I love getting them. I do have a very long list of backlog items though so it will take me a while to implement them. But I do plan to get to the ones I like eventually.
Funny thing? That was off the top of my head in less than 2 minutes... Here's another example (came to me shortly before going to bed): You could grab the vials (slightly bigger ones) and allow Ms Ball to use them in her class in a sadistic way considering her sadistic streak. One way I thought it could be used is that she would have one per student (or small groups) and they would places them on the floor (even more so if it has no stand and another student has to hold the vials) while they would take turns trying to piss in them from a full standing position under the guise of "hand-eye co-ordination" and "accuracy/distance/depth perception" training. The goal is to fill up the vials as much as possible. Those that get less than say 60% would be punished while those that get them completely full would get a reward while those in the middle simple get neither.

True, but most people are very visual. I think it'll increase my readership a lot to have the artwork. Also, I want to see it myself! Sounding a trans girl... looking forward to that.
Yeah, and that's unfortunate as we've become a world culture that puts more value on pretty shiny stuff rather things that actually develop the mind and it's imagination. I have nothing against pictures and I do prefer them in many games... But the vast majority of those don't have what this game has and that's a writer capable of skillfully painting a scene and picture with mere words. (however, with that said... I would still like pictures, I just put them lower in priority in the case of this particular game)

If you were doing like a monthly release then something like a week's early access would be good... Then again that likely wouldn't last long considering the very forum we're on :tf:. I'd reserve your rewards for extra content/specific fetish type stuff or similar things. Up to you if you want to do early access, but IF you do, I strongly suggest it be a small group that can proofread and test the game for bugs for you... Maybe allow patreons to volunteer for it and have a limit like a max of 10 people if you get enough of them, and maybe have it be a monthly random drawing. Then message them and ask if they want to do that, if not then draw a new name maybe? That's something I'd likely do if I were to make a game myself (which I have considered giving a try). I'm just happy to share my thoughts and if you like and want to use them then great! If not, then simply don't. Doesn't bother me :p

Not a problem. You're open to thoughts, ideas, criticisms, suggestions, etc. The only thing I have to say is do what you want and feel you should do. Don't let others control or take over your project/game (and that includes me XD).
