The render I posted above is a prime example of why the dev is simultaneously very popular while also earning criticism. The poses, the focus, the attention to detail. Impressive! At the same time, it's a kid knocking on the door... get on with it!! I can literally picture the dev spending God knows how much time making sure the flowers in the garden behind Sam are the perfect shade of purple without being too pink... or is it too purple? How high should his left hand be up on his right arm? Etc etc.

For the record, I'm a fan and, a patron!, of this VN. That doesn't mean I can't roll my eyes at pretentiousness. I hope the endgame will be worthwhile.

i don't mind the story the story is good but we almost play this game for 2 years right now and still nothing but i hope we get a good suprise this time can't wait to play the new update

I have an idea for an interesting social-economical experiment: let 50-60% of patrons cancel their subscriptions to the most problematic titles. It would be extremely interesting to see all these wonders: miracle healings, graphic cards self-repairs, time slowing down, bills not so painful to pay anymore... Something tells me all those more or less imaginary excuses would automagically perish at once and regular updates return. Unfortunately, we won't see it (capitalism at work) happen because worshippers will be worshippers, and dumb will be dumb - no matter what...
