And, to break up the chatter a little, how about a dev update. Feel free to begin the debate about this (which actually sounds pretty good):

Info about 0.05 and the next update

Just to summarize what vers. 0.05 (playable day 6) was primarily about (spoiler alert!):
1) the little approach of Sophia and Ellie

2) the reaction on the subway assault

3) If nursing job accepted: Sophia and the old men got to know each other a bit

4) Emma's "transformation" and a further approach to Sophia (they got kind of a friendly relationship now)

5) Dylan got some new bruises - Sophia becomes a little suspicious and talks with her husband about it

6) Liam meets Nathalie

7) The dinner with Dylan's teacher and him showing his real face (he's currently the obstacle of Dylan's way to college!)

The next update:

I've started with the development of the next version. I think I'll divide the next playable day 7 in a vers. 0.055 and 0.06! Not because it will be huge, but rather because I'll be away from the 28th of August to the 4th of September, and I don't know if I'll mange to finish the whole next game day until then. In this week I just can program the game but not render anything.

So I'll highly probable develop the events of the morning and noon for 0.055 (7 events). And the events of the afternoon and evening (4 events) for 0.06.

I can't say for sure when the next update 0.055 will be finished. I hope it will be done within 3 weeks. That update will already include the Ellie and Dylan event, which are the beginning of the actual storyline with them!

But if I see, that I can manage to finish the whole day until the 27th of August, I'll do that of course. Maybe even finish the final programming and translation from abroad and upload it then.

So i'll be back in this thread in the end of august or take a peek on early september. So i'm not gonna expect too much for this game, until september.

Before the update, I've personally imagined the whole teacher drama a lot more elaborated, if I may say so.
The teacher character could have been put to better use if given a different personality.
Assume instead he was a charming, friendly, nice one...

On the good path > teacher accepts dinner at Sophia's home > makes friends with Liam > solve Dylan's problem ofc > starts more friendly events with Sophia's family > at some point there's a threesome with him, Liam and Sophia > maybe he has a student girlfriend and they could go for a foursome.

On the filthy path > teacher is still charming and friendly > Sophia gets romantically involved with him, ofc in his bed as well > the blackmail route comes from the school principal who finds out about their relation. In such a case the blackmail would have more ground than the history test one. Plus, Sophia would switch from good wife to cheating wife first and only then to the filthy one, making things more plausible given her prudeness.

Using characters on both paths would also help the dev by saving some renders instead of creating new events, he would only need to change text and add the different sexual content.
Plus could offer him a chance later to add more side-stories: like what if the young teacher gets involved with Ellie or Patricia?

Well, I'm really curious now to see what the dev actually has in store on this.

I find one very suspicious. On this one morning, where Sophia had to pee urgently, the bathroom door was locked and no reaction from Liam, whereupon she had to go to the bathroom of Ellie and Dylan. But when she goes out again, she comes from this direction towards Ellie, dressed so you could see the bra and the door was no longer locked.

What did you mean by "bad husband" exactly then? Because I interpreted it that you meant how he fails in Sophia's eyes, not that he is overall a bad person or anything. So far he's been mostly portrayed as slightly distant, overly focused on his new job to the point where he's stressed and often overtired and unsatisfying in the bedroom essentially...

Theres another reason why Sophia would go the good wife, devotion to her husband. Even tho he has become distant and absorbed in his new job. Considering her personality, I think Sophia might be willing to be more accepting and appreciative towards her husband and his new career, causing her to take a second look at her duties as a "wife and mother".

Please take your time on this one. The last update was very rushed. I prefer the dialog to flow naturally. Human beings talk about a lot of useless things, so i wanna feel that realism here instead of rushing into scene after scene. Also I love Sofia's inner thoughts and monologue so pls never compromise on that :3

Strongly disagree. The game is a masterpiece. I did not meet with anything equal to her. The quality of pictures, the plot, the scene, the development of the game. The game clings like no other.

And as a professional writer i can tell you the plot as the development of the game will lead to a huge downfall. He builds up his characters for to long. Doesnt know which plot should be the main plot to follow so he cant transition clean into it cause no one knows what the main story even is but can name me alot of side stories who lead to alot of things except sex or even naked ppl.

Or in short. He will overhype the build up. Blue ball till ppl start complaining then deliver some spice or sex scenes and dissapoint as he cant make a sex scene 200 renders long without turning boring or repetitive.

Its a sex game. Main Thing about sex games is as the name suggests sex. Not delivering anything of substance is just stupid.

Here, even ordinary scenes like learning to swim or ride Sofia Dylanov on the swings cause more emotions and impressions than a dozen stupid and identical porn scenes from ordinary games.

Nothing will happen in a few months. He'll be probably earning even more regardless of his pace. Not even one creator had any type of downfall unless they started to neglect releases. There is no such thing on Patreon. This dev changed his pace drastically already but his income is growing at similiar rate as it was growing before. People like slow games and this one is not even that slow in comparison to serious titles. He could easily release 10 more updates without any sex and he would be still growing. It's a shame he has such a low artistic integrity to cut even more content with each update when it won't really give him much in a long run but might break a game with inconsistency and lower quality. Patreon is such a canerous model when rather normally paced VN is being compared to a our most popular fuck fest games and claimed to be too slow.

Are you serious? We're still in the introductory part from what I can tell. New Characters are still being added to the story and new side events without moving any of the "main story" forward (whatever that is), or very very slowly. L&P even says nothing will start happening until .07, just a small thing with the siblings.

Thats because Sex is not a serious issue. Its Chaotic, stupid, funny, sometimes even hillarious but most of the time its fun.
If it was serious people would be very strict about which they are not. Once sex happend the boundaries fall more and more each time a couple has sex to which at one point it becomes either boring or pointless.
If you want to sell sex and make it an uptight serious issue you wont sell anything as sex is based on impuls, hormones and alot of times on phantasies who have zero to do with reality. Especially when its a game you have to abandon realism cause no one plays sex game for realism. Same with reading erotic novels. People want to escape reality thats why you have to give them the fantasy isntead of realism.

Every guy imagines a 10/10 Women to be a fuck of a lifetime and then is shocked once he has sex with her and she does literally nothing but lay there like a corpse. She is a 10/10 she doesnt have to be good at sex she looks awesome. Thats how reality works. Been there, had it all. They all share it. They cant fuck for shit.

Unless he will make his releases postponed or he'll do something extremally drastic (like switching whole theme to bestiality etc.) he can't lose money. He will only grow. Dual Family is a good example of a slow pace without sex and it's doing great in finacial terms. I know you don't like that style but it certainly works. Just google the most famous japanese VNs and most of them is much, much slower with sexual content than this one. Different strokes for different folks

Will there be a love line between Dylan and Ellie? I was asking him what he wrote it - Ellie and Dylan is very unlikely because Ellie can't really stand him. The only chance would be blackmail. But it's still not completely excluded.

Yes seriously. The author himself said this. The next update of the beginning of the lines of Dylan and Elly are the main characters. The author himself wrote that after this game will begin to gain momentum.

Its not a fact its an assumption on another genre. To prove your point the dev would need to post his game will never have any sex scenes and boom instant money drop by 50% at least. Cause it is a Sex VN and not a Story VN only.
It only works as ppl expect sex in the future.

You miss the point. If its a Sex less VN it is wrongfully in this forum. If it is a Sex Based VN it needs sex in order to gain money or keep the money as blue balling never works for long.

I am familiar what VNs are and how many japanese are out there however this forum is about sex VN not about sexless VN at least to my knowledge.
