Overview:
Hayato lived an ordinary life until he wakes up one day with amnesia… and finds himself in a world closer to the video games he plays than the world he remembers.

Fetch quests? Skill points? Respawning after death? It’s all a bit much to accept. A mage named Shiori offers to help him find his way, and with her help, he learns how to fight monsters, perform fetch quests, and put items in a strange metaphysical space called an “inventory.”

Soon he’s ready to take on NPC quests! But the town of Lightshire is in danger from deadly monsters—monsters that can kill you for real. Where did they come from? What is behind the attacks? Hayato and Shiori are determined to find out, and no matter what they encounter—from high-level dungeons to argumentative party members—they won’t stop until they learn the truth.

I'm not planning to download this since well I already have the steam version downloaded but the reason I refunded it was because it was boring to me the beginning has way too much build up with choices that basically do nothing from what I could tell.

Agreed. Besides, I don't believe I've seen so many dialogues in a game, ever before! OMFG!

I don't like most VNs. The exposition with basically nothing going on is seriously boring.

VNs are more or less books with choices. Moreover, even tho they usually have erotic content they are rarely have anything with porn due to cultural differences and how Japanese see sexuality. Definitely not a game for everyone. Personally I love them. Some like Muv-Luv or Fate/Stay Night are better than simple anime

Game is decent dialogue wise but it's so rushed. Zero combat or decisions when it relates to combat.

And if you read the script the ending is super rushed. You basically choose a girl get a small blurb of text and the game ends. Also there is a harem route part of the way then it just sort of cuts out and makes you choose a girl but it's not written anywhere in the story (ie the girls make you choose) it just sort of jumps to a hard choice dialogue box.

It's basically no porn with a rushed plot.

I f'n hate that game no walkthrough and when you extract the scripts they are all in Russian. They have translation for the text but not the gameplay. So yeah not playing that until they create a walkthrough or organize the scripts better.

Plays a lot like a D&D campaign with a brand new DM getting to the end of the story at what amounts to level 4. I like the story, would have enjoyed more development/afterstory.

hmmmm good premise. story starts off pretty strong then seems like they got too close to the deadline and had to rush and finnish it. weak ending and could of done so much more with girls backstories

OK... the story does feel rushed... not to mention references to a those TCGs and Pokemon...
