You can try this:

In surfaces, set "Opacity Strength" to 0 in Grids and SoftBox_Black, and for SoftBox_Light set "Cutout Opacity" to 0.0001

BTW, setting cutout opacity to 0.0001 is useful also to avoid the reflection in the eyes ;-)
Thanks!

Also, do you think it's better to have LOWER contrast or HIGHER contrast in the original scene file by changing the tone mapping settings?

I heard it's better to have LOWER contrast, and then adjusting the contrast levels in photoshop, for example, but I'm not exactly sure.

Hi, new here. I love the art in this discussion. Nvidia Iray is a render hard to use, low control in how its works to render scenes, seens a little ilogical to me the one scene to another.
Well this is my poor try with Iray:

Zbrush and my boundless love to asses)
Hmm, I've actually been wanting to get into Zbrush because it seems like you can create your own or modify your characters to your own liking if you're good enough.

Any recommendations to get started? perhaps some good tutorials that helped you a lot?

it's not only character modify. With zbrush you can do ANYTHING in Daz.
Create your own characters, clothes, props, assets and etc.
So, any zbrush tutorial you can find will be usefull. I recommend you to find tutorials for "Zbrush brushes", cause it will be more than enough to satisfy you needs.

Thought I would share what I have been working on over the past view days. Wanted to create a fully realised set similar to that I did with a park in the middle of the city. This time an island setting, using Terradome 3 as the core asset. Don't worry, there will be some skin in future renders.:winkytongue:

I think it looks great. If you wanted to really sell it, you'd have to mess with the water a bit.

I watched one tutorial on d-formers and now I'm all like...

I'm glad that I now have a way to fix a bunch of little issues I run into with objects and clothes. At the same time I have this foreboding feeling I've just given myself hours of more adjustments I can fiddle with in the future.

Yeah, good work Neo ;-)

If you ever find a clothing or object that doesn't work well with dformer you can use "Node Weight Map Brush" trick...here's a tuto:

I don't know...photoshop allows some effects that would be very complicated with daz, but initially I would try to make the scene look as similar as you want it.

PD: Bad examples the photos I uploaded of Jessy on the beach, those have been retouched with Photoshop, but because they are for a picture that goes in a frame in Jessy's room in the game :p )

PD2: I'm quite new in all that, maybe someone else can answer you better to your question.
