guys, I need some advice...

IMHO In the real world those lighting effects are caused by the fact that water is a deformed volume "full of transparent matter" not an empty kind of cube... So if it was me, I will try to use a geoshell with glass textures around my figures (with an offset of about less than an half cm and visible for the lower body parts)... and maybe you should activate the caustic sampler... my two cents...

Hi everybody,

Here is the 4th iterations of the same scene... Except that I made some changes:

- My model has been slightly changed to add details and correct some mistake (I bored my wife to hell asking her to take poses on differents lightings to see details)
- I changed the skin replacing glossy layer by the dual lobe layer
- I corrected the eye socket texture

I go wild and rendered her with tattoo and piericing (I like tattos and piercings on women... but my wife is oversensitive to the pain)

... Sorry if I spam the thread with different versions of the "same" render.

Please make comments : is it better than the previous ones ? Is she "human" enough ?

Well, in term of render and scennery i don't have any objections, i personaly like some story behind the pics, may be just to add a little things to make eyes look more how can i say it, to bring life in them, make cornea bulge a little more to bring a volume, don't get me wrong you already have an effect, but i would like to make it stronger, but maybe it's just me, about a model, well what can i say, i can't judge your taste, coz i like more realtic women myself, but in a diffrent style. If you don't understand something, sorry eng not my native.

The waterline is flat because it is a flat plane with a variable pattern assigned to the surface, to make it look like waves. In the spoiler are some renders I did a while ago with a water asset which includes waves without a pattern applied. Hence the waves are real rather than simulated. This water is contained within the Ebano asset as linked below.

Edit: Included a quick render (2nd spoiler) from underwater to demonstrate. Also cranked up the Y-scale to increase the wave height to make it more obvious.

Awesome! Any chance you remember the name of that "water asset"? I looked around a while and got lots of splishs and splashs but no wavy water simulator.

Another of my MILF character Madison, she's actually the mom of the main character in my game, but my game has no incest so I like to make renders of her to screw with my fans!

....yeah I'm a dick, even Madison thinks so :p

You can get wavy water by using dForce, it isn't just for fabrics :)
Or you can use this:

It's contained within the Ebano asset I linked in the original post. As Evic mentioned though it's not the only way to create waves. Any surface with contours can modified with a liquid shader to simulate waves.

I could be completely wrong on this (others correct me if I am), but the model is perfectly okay as she is. For me, the lighting just seems off. It doesn't tell me anything; am I supposed to fear her, like her, love her, etc?

Just a single light above, and a light on either side of the girl as rim-lights to separate her from the background. Simple lighting but it creates, in my opinion, some degree of threat or drama; I am not sure how other people will perceive this image, but I'm thinking the girl is somebody I should probably fear and the lighting enhances the fact she's floating and her eyes are glowing, and she looks mildly displeased.

Even if your girl is a nice demon, you probably need to go for a lighting that gives her some 'story' or makes her 'pop' out of the image. Before creating the above image, I just googled a lot of images of people sitting down, figured out the lighting setups, and found the ones that looked more menacing.

Just my two cents.

Thank you for your advices... I will experiment your lighting setup and try to make the scene more "story telling"...
