Speaking of Joy, is she not implemented beyond meeting her at the island for that first time? Because she said something about dropping in every so often, but I've never seen any notice of it and never found a way to find her again.

Thanks. Hey I was thinking, how about a way to cap the ammount of girls at the island, maybe to a minimum of 4 and the current maximum. Sometimes you're trying to get scenes and the sheer ammount of variables makes it very hard for someone to show up places and it's quite a grind.It's funny to see that you can get at each others throat quite fine without me
Ok jokes aside. About the Amy nightbar drink event in the ladies room:
- Amy needs to be in her basic night dress (the blue one)
- then there is a combined affection/love check. if you pass it, she will put her hand on your leg
- then you need to "compliment her"
- then there is a player charm check, charm >= 3
- then guy asks her if she wants another drink
- then a very high lust check on Amy: lust >= 80
- then a very high love check on Amy: love >= 75
- if both checks are ok, she goes to the ladies room and you can follow her some minutes later
It has absolutely nothing to do with which bug fix you are using or if you installed bugfix 1 before 3 or whatever.

Cap usually means a maximum, which we already have. Are you talking a minimum number of girls? Which I thought there already was when you were going to the island and chose the initial ones you wanted (6 was it?).
Overall this is a grind anyway, its a date sim with lots of girls so it takes time.

I meant limiting the ammount at any given time. You can send a bunch home and they don't come back unless you bring them back. So If you're trying to get Yvette at the reception, you can choose to have four at the island, increasing the odds. If you have 8 going at the same time, it's now at least twice as hard to find her there for a week. I had to skip around 10 weeks to find Yvette there. But with 4 there are less combinations and it's easier to find it.
Not all games are a grind. In fact many of them aren't. It's just a matter of testing, you see what constitutes useless grind and remove it from the game making the experience more enjoyable. Nothing is gained by people having to grind more due to some mechanic that isn't working unless there's some type of paying system that allows someone to make more progress by spending money. Simple things like being able to skip a full day or week, being able to skip a set ammount of time in a day, being able to buy the blue pill directly from the shop, quicker ways to reduce lust like no time limit between masturbations, would reduce the grind and make the gameflow more enjoyable, specially in games under development where sometimes something will bug in your save files between versions and you have to start all over again and regrind.

The dev has already said a few days ago that he is exploring adding the option of assigning the girls to specific tasks like reception, spa, etc. in exchange for company favors. Perhaps it will be included in the next update.
Although, you can always save your game late Sunday night since the game assigns who does what on Monday morning. Didn't get who you wanted as doctor or at reception? Reload and try again. The choices are random from the girls on the island and their skill sets. For example, at this time, you'll never get Yvette as a spa masseuse.

I can't get Brenda to show up in my room for cleaning. Are there hints in the game to help know when events might occur?
I also can't get ANY Spa options with the girls. Even when a girl is showing at the spa, there are no options or actions to click on. Am I missing something?

The girl that does room service is assigned Monday morning for the entire week. It is a random choice the game makes. See my above post about saving your game late Sunday night and then after Monday morning if you didn't get whom you wanted, reload and try again.
There are only a few girls that do spa massages. You have to select sitting in the chair from action on the right menu. You may have to wait sometimes for the masseuse to show up. Just click the wait 30 minutes choice a few times.

1) Ivy never showed up.
2) Faye arrival scene started to show up
3) Faye arrival scene happens every time I go to the reception or my room
4) beyond the first time, I can't seem to purchase at the reception.
This might have been fixed at the bugfix3, and if to, thanks for fixing it.

Yes it was addressed with BugFix 3. If you have correctly installed the BugFixes you should not have that problem. Nor will BugFix 3 bork your saved games. You 'might' experience the problem one more time, but then it should not occur again after installation of BugFix 3.I don't know if this is already reported -
