Looking for a Program or .EXE to run html games.

Hello there, id did not know where to post this, i hope this is right.

So ... i am looking for an program ore .EXE to run html games, i had something like this a few years ago, but i am not able to find it again. The reason i want to use it aigain was that html game were running better there than any browser i used.
I hope someone can help me anf thank you in advance

Does such a thing even exist? Browsers are literally programs to run html, would it not be just another browser?

I know that browser are basically that, but that was no browser that i used. i am still trying to find it with google but n luck. Bit it exist because i used it abou 1 1/2 - 2 years ago

Which kind of HTML games? If they have been made with , I think you can download the tool and load the games with it.
Alternatively you can just get the latest version of : if I am not mistaken, the Twine viewer is built on top of it (NW.js can run any HTML game, btw).

Are you perhaps thinking of Flash (.swf) games? Most browsers no longer support them, but you can use the Adobe stand-alone flashplayer.
